Seats are transferrable. If you finish in the top Six and cannot play the Grand Prix you can nominate a player of your choice to play, with percentage arrangements worked out between you.

Bit of a sigh though unfortunately. Never mind.

Have you been disappointed with the turnout out or was it what you expected ? I've no idea what could be done to improve numbers.I was thinking a bigger package with the league being over a longer time period but it would have to be done in some way that meant interest would last until the end.

A litte disappointed but not too surprised

25-40 is a consistent turnout over about 3 years of blonde leagues, irrespective of format or platform.

Even the best leagues on here ever, the team events on blonde/Virgin card-rooms in 2007, got 60 runners tops

Of course I went with a format from feedback from quite a few people on a thread last month. Lead time to set one up is about a fortnight, and by the time its set up and needing to be announced the bounties, who indicated support and are names people would want to play, have other commitments/issues so its not ideal

As to the future, well put simply not enough people are supporting us on DTD which means that there are probably changes ahead which I would rather avoid but I just have to play the hand blonde is dealt.

Already DTD have indicated that the £500 added value is to stop at the end of this month. So as of November its back to a blank sheet of paper, probably a small league for fun, because they are fun, without added value.

I am of course grateful to everyone who plays the leagues and online via blonde onto DTD in general.

Add Tikay and Flushy to this thread and also obviously the comps and you'd have loads more runners.

I haven't read the whole thread but I'm going to take a wild guess that neither has posted. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Blonde bounty league with those 2 as the bounties could've created a real buzz as it progressed.

It's not difficult really. Unfortunately I don't think either of them realise what their impact could potentially be.

You've done what you can Rich. It's up to the bosses to do their bit now and get involved.

EDIT: I understand that Tikay + Flushy are busy and haven't deliberately swerved this. It's not a dig at either one of them (except Flushy).

It's EASY people!!!  Just like Hold Em only ya have more options.

Hand strength changes as flop turn and river are dealt - same as in Hold Em. 

All the while you can change yer mind on which two cards in yer hand you want to use. 

But you MUST USE TWO of the four cards in yer hand with THREE from the board to make yer final hand.

Had the same problem at first.  Make sure yer filter button isn't ticked.  You'll find the filter bottom right hand corner of the lobby.

Right - same rules from above apply for the HI portion of proceedings. 

LO = anything from 8 on down to A with A, 2, 3, 4, 5 being the nut LO.  Suits don't matter a toss in the LO hand.  All down to the 2 low cards in yer hand matched with 3 low cards on the board. 

If there's a LO and  HI winner, the pot is split between them. 

And if ya didn't understand the notes above, blame the wine.  Will give it another go tomorrow for future reference.  lol

When I got HU I seriously didn't have a clue what I was doing. At least I knew I didn't have a clue though which is better than thinking you have a clue.....I think

The 6 league winners win a DTD grand prix seat and day1b will be sold out by the time the league finishes on monday. As a result the lucky 6 or those nominated to play on their behalf will be entered into day 1a on the friday

Just a suggestion here. We want a league next month I assume of some kind with some kind of "prize" even if there is no cash.... So, I assume Blonde want to put a team into the APAT team championship in January? Why not make a league to pick this team either in Nov of Dec. Having played the two formats I actually liked last months format but either is fine from my point of view. I don't know when the teams need to be confirmed by but I assume Rich does and maybe it could run for two months to give people the best possible chance of playing as many tournaments as possible.

Just a suggestion of course but it would encourage people to play and gives some kind of added value that some of us would consider to be nearly as good as cash.

Some major changes are afoot DTD/blonde, unfortunately, so I wasn't organising a formal league next month. As you say, no added value available anyway

George..this comes into the "nice problem to have" category as I never envisaged the GP would be a sell out before the league finished

I've said to the three players guaranteed to win one of these six seats already, now the last six seats, that if they can't play or have already entered then I will help them find a blonde member to take the seat for them, with the league winner having 50% of their action

If that doesn't suit you, there isn't a cash alternative as it stands, I'll have to ask DTD if they can unreg and refund you. Not sure what they'd say to that.
