Same boat here - so I just did what they say you should do in HE heads up and raised nearly every button

The 6 league winners win a DTD grand prix seat and day1b will be sold out by the time the league finishes on monday. As a result the lucky 6 or those nominated to play on their behalf will be entered into day 1a on the friday

A litte disappointed but not too surprised

25-40 is a consistent turnout over about 3 years of blonde leagues, irrespective of format or platform.

Even the best leagues on here ever, the team events on blonde/Virgin card-rooms in 2007, got 60 runners tops

Of course I went with a format from feedback from quite a few people on a thread last month. Lead time to set one up is about a fortnight, and by the time its set up and needing to be announced the bounties, who indicated support and are names people would want to play, have other commitments/issues so its not ideal

As to the future, well put simply not enough people are supporting us on DTD which means that there are probably changes ahead which I would rather avoid but I just have to play the hand blonde is dealt.

Already DTD have indicated that the £500 added value is to stop at the end of this month. So as of November its back to a blank sheet of paper, probably a small league for fun, because they are fun, without added value.

I am of course grateful to everyone who plays the leagues and online via blonde onto DTD in general.

Just a suggestion here. We want a league next month I assume of some kind with some kind of "prize" even if there is no cash.... So, I assume Blonde want to put a team into the APAT team championship in January? Why not make a league to pick this team either in Nov of Dec. Having played the two formats I actually liked last months format but either is fine from my point of view. I don't know when the teams need to be confirmed by but I assume Rich does and maybe it could run for two months to give people the best possible chance of playing as many tournaments as possible.

Just a suggestion of course but it would encourage people to play and gives some kind of added value that some of us would consider to be nearly as good as cash.

Some major changes are afoot DTD/blonde, unfortunately, so I wasn't organising a formal league next month. As you say, no added value available anyway

Your idea is a good one. We'll do a "network wide" MTT league like last month and the top 8 can play the APAT teams in January, assuming blonde Poker is invited to put in a team (if its on past performance, I might have to twist an arm or two!)

I'll tweak the previous format too.
