Players start each match with 20,000 chips.

Level 1. 100 – 200
Level 2. 150 – 300
Level 3. 200 – 400
Level 4. 300 – 600
Level 5. 400 – 800
Level 6. 500 – 1000
Each level lasts 30 minutes, blinds freeze at level 6.

Just to keep you guys updated we will be "live webcasting" both the World heads Up and the GUKPT grand final which follows two days later. We have made arrangements for Blonde Poker to receive the Live webcast and this will be interactive so any blonde's playing in the event can be sure of a mention . We have several guest/ expert commentators lined up ( last year we had Neil Channing , Stuart Rutter, Dan Carter and Dario Minari to name a few ) so you can expect a similar line up again this year. They will be on hand to answer questions and comments as we are live and interactive.

WHU 2010 – Streamlined and Streaming

Announcing a date change plus webcast for the World Heads Up Championship to be held at London’s Victoria Casino this November:

The £2,000 + £200 No Limit Hold’em WHU Championship tournament will now take place from the 19th to the 22nd of November, with the final being held on Monday the 22nd.  Two rounds will be played per day starting at midday

The WHU will now also feature a live streaming webcast running on Sunday 21st and Monday 22nd November, in addition to the broadcast of the GUKPT Grand Final from the 25th-28th bringing both the unique action from the heads-up event and the pinnacle of the GUKPT’s main tour online in real time.

We will also have plenty of guest commentators to keep you intrested, and it will be interactive.As I said previosly  last year we had Neil Channing , Dario Minari, Stu Rutter to name a few  and we have plenty lined up this time around. All hosted and presented by channel 4 American Football TV host Mike Carlson. Really professional stuff....apart from  me of course.

Yes, I must admit some extra value in the satts would have been nice but the on line side has taken a little while to get sorted so we are just grateful for their involvement as is. Rank are still developing and intergrating the World Heads Up into their programme of events and we are delighted with their involvement  but it  may take a little while to see the full fruits of their, and our, labours before we have the finished article. Non the less it should be a great event  and don`t forget you will be able to watch it live here on Blonde.

Whats the starting times to first round matches on friday 19th november? is it 1 or 2 rounds on day 1?

Midday start on both days...running around 12 matches conseq so will be in two ,three or four tiers dependant on numbers.

Dependant on numbers  one round per day planned for Frid /sat. but we may have to run two rounds Sunday and semis and final on Monday if entries require us to do so.

advertised 4 128 runners from 19th to 21st so if you get more than 128 it will be a 4 day tourney? Can you please clarify as if its a 128 runners will it defintely finish on sunday?

It is 19th-22nd and final is definately MONDAY 22nd regardless of number of runners.

We have moved it forward slighlty due to requests from players flying out to EPT for 2nd start day on Tuesday.

You can have a small bet at 2/1 there are more than 128 runners.

Go on then. You can have a large bet if you really want to.

World Heads Up satellite at the Vic...Tuesday 16th November at 7:30pm

This will be £70 No Limit Hold'em Rebuy Super Satellites, (with unlimited rebuys for 90 minutes). 3,000 starting stack with 4,000 given for add-ons.

There are 3 seats guaranteed in this satellite. ( 40 players or more).

As the WHUP is part of the GUKPT Grand Final this year, the winner of the main event will also win a seat into the GUKPT Champions of Champions event.
