Just to keep you guys updated we will be "live webcasting" both the World heads Up and the GUKPT grand final which follows two days later. We have made arrangements for Blonde Poker to receive the Live webcast and this will be interactive so any blonde's playing in the event can be sure of a mention . We have several guest/ expert commentators lined up ( last year we had Neil Channing , Stuart Rutter, Dan Carter and Dario Minari to name a few ) so you can expect a similar line up again this year. They will be on hand to answer questions and comments as we are live and interactive.

All hosted and presented by channel 4 American Football TV host Mike Carlson. Really professional stuff....apart from  me of course.

The Grosvenor Victoria Casino Proudly presents..............

The WORLDS HEADS-UP POKER CHAMPIONSHIP 2010

www.worldheadsuppoker.com

The World Heads-Up Poker Championship has joined forces with the GUKPT to return to The Vic this November and bring the excitement of one-on-one tournament poker back to the capital.

The £2,000 buyin event will run from the 19th-22nd November, letting aficionados of this tough discipline challenge each other for the title and the prize money one match at a time, one player at a time.

It's rare to beat a field of 128 and have only played seven opponents, but with half-hour levels and 20,000 starting stacks there's plenty of play to determine the World Heads-Up Poker Champion of 2010.

You can win your seat to the World Heads Up Poker Championships through G Casino Poker via the online satellites, starting from as little as £2!

https://www.gcasino.com/default.aspx?c...rld-heads-up.html

MAIN EVENT SCHEDULE £2000 + £200 Buy-In (128 players MAX)

Friday 19th November - 1st and 2nd Rounds - 12pm start - 20,000 starting stack - 30 minute blind levels.

Saturday 20th November - 3rd and 4th Rounds - 12pm start - 20,000 starting stack - 30 minute blind levels.

Sunday 21st November - Quarter Finals and Semi-Finals - 12pm start - 20,000 starting stack - 30 minute blind levels.

Monday 22nd November - Final - 5pm start - 20,000 starting stack - 30 minute blind levels.

The World Heads-Up Championship will feature a LIVE WEBCAST. For more details please visit:

Nice one......but shame they can't add a bit of value/ tempting guarantee to their online sats:

" £200 entry /one seat guaranteed "( but min 10 players to run!)

"£20 sat to the £200 final/one seat guaranteed" (but min 10 players to run!)

So unfortunately no one is playing them  Sad

Yes, I must admit some extra value in the satts would have been nice but the on line side has taken a little while to get sorted so we are just grateful for their involvement as is. Rank are still developing and intergrating the World Heads Up into their programme of events and we are delighted with their involvement  but it  may take a little while to see the full fruits of their, and our, labours before we have the finished article. Non the less it should be a great event  and don`t forget you will be able to watch it live here on Blonde.

Good luck with the event Pete. Just one thing... it's Minieri not Minari.
