Title: buying a new car help Post by: paulhouk03 on October 10, 2010, 01:20:46 PM I'm thinking of getting a new yaris.
Its 1k deposit with 3 years monthly payments of £239 At the end of the 3 years the car has a minimum value of 4298 which can be refinanced or traded in for a new car (which is expected). Typically the value of the car is worth more than the minimum value. Seems pretty good getting a new car every 3 years. The cars worth 13k but I got 1k discount. Which is standard I think Is there anything else I can squeeze out of him? Ie tank of petrol, mats, bigger discounts, safety pack etc etc Title: Re: buying a new car help Post by: EvilPie on October 10, 2010, 01:36:25 PM I'm thinking of getting a new yaris. If you take it back they won't give you a penny more than this figure. Did they say that you could take it back in 3 years and they'd probably give you £5.4k meaning you had your next deposit there for your next car? That's a pretty standard lie. Make the assumption that you'll have to find another deposit next time and you won't be disappointed. That being said £13902 to pay it total if you decide to keep it means you're getting a ridic low interest rate so seems a good deal. Good luck getting anything else out of them. Looks good enough already. Title: Re: buying a new car help Post by: sofa----king on October 10, 2010, 02:03:03 PM Honestly

you get 3 years free insurance, 3 years warranty, 3 years breakdown cover, 3 years servicing and 3 years road tax. I've not looked too closely into the financing side of things but you can get a 207 for £195 per month; or a 107(which is very much like a yaris) for £179 per month check it out; I'm pretty gutted as I havent been driving a year which you have to have been to get the deal http://www.peugeot.co.uk/showroom/latest-offers/just-add-fuel/ Title: Re: buying a new car help Post by: paulhouk03 on October 10, 2010, 06:57:00 PM Paul have you looked at the peugeot deal they have on at the moment called just add fuel? you get 3 years free insurance, 3 years warranty, 3 years breakdown cover, 3 years servicing and 3 years road tax. *not a spelling mistake. Currently drooling over pics of Audi A5's (I know that apostrophe is grammatically incorrect, but it don't look right without it). Any one have any experience of the A5? Yep Got a 59 plate 2.0 Tdi Sport, really nice car absolutely love it. Pretty cheap on a lease too. Only problem I had was there was a 6 month wait for them when I ordered mine, being impatient I took a cancellation model. Sigh at the lack of a couple of extras I stupidly expected as standard on a +£30k car. Make sure you get everything you want in the spec or you might end up with no steering wheel or something. ;) Title: Re: buying a new car help Post by: ScottMGee on October 12, 2010, 11:50:33 AM Quote Only problem I had was there was a 6 month wait for them when I ordered mine, being impatient I took a cancellation model.
