I'm thinking of getting a new yaris.
Its 1k deposit with 3 years monthly payments of £239
At the end of the 3 years the car has a minimum value of 4298 which can be refinanced or traded in for a new car (which is expected).

Typically the value of the car is worth more than the minimum value.

Seems pretty good getting a new car every 3 years.

The cars worth 13k but I got 1k discount. Which is standard I think

Is there anything else I can squeeze out of him? Ie tank of petrol, mats, bigger discounts, safety pack etc etc

Ignore this bit. It's sales talk and it's bollocks. If you take it back they won't give you a penny more than this figure.

Did they say that you could take it back in 3 years and they'd probably give you £5.4k meaning you had your next deposit there for your next car? That's a pretty standard lie. Make the assumption that you'll have to find another deposit next time and you won't be disappointed.

That being said £13902 to pay it total if you decide to keep it means you're getting a ridic low interest rate so seems a good deal.

Good luck getting anything else out of them. Looks good enough already.

Honestly
I buy and sell cars and ATM
the best value by far is private lease

I just got a mate of mine a brand new vw tiguan
value £25,000
cost them £229 per month for 2 years then give it back and have a new one

I bet u could lease hire that yaris for around £160 per month
then just give it back

Paul have you looked at the peugeot deal they have on at the moment called just add fuel?

you get 3 years free insurance, 3 years warranty, 3 years breakdown cover, 3 years servicing and 3 years road tax.

I've not looked too closely into the financing side of things but you can get a 207 for £195 per month; or a 107(which is very much like a yaris) for £179 per month

check it out; I'm pretty gutted as I havent been driving a year which you have to have been to get the deal

A member on here too!

This is awesome off Lings site, nearly up to the big mac index...

Note: Other "professional" car sites (in suits) will treat you very politely, but they think you are a twat.

Wear and tear stuff is fine, anything worse you get charged for.
