Title: Grinding For Dough - A Loafers Litany.
Post by: booder on January 01, 2011, 05:02:59 PM
Jumping on the diary bandwagon as a few people have requested that i chart my progress as a student of Supernova Ray,otherwise known as Mondatoo......yes,i am the chosen one (old dogs and new tricks spring to mind).

Bit of background......

I have been staked for the online pokerz for quite a while by Matt (Evilpie). Started on the Blonde cardroom playing MTT;s ,a couple of decent scores allowing me to purchase new laptop and monitor, then moving onto Full Tilt for a while (consistently running bad when deep knocked my confidence for a bit),then moved onto stars to have a crack at grinding the 45s.
With hindsight this was doomed to failure - Without the proper strategy you are never going to beat these long term.I ran ok at times, building the bankroll up,but a couple of very big downswings (bad plays by me the vital factor here) caused me to lose the lot. I then decided to take a break from poker as i was not enjoying it and i had other more important issues closer to home to sort out.

A couple of months ago Matt and i were chatting and i said that i was yearning to get back on the virtual felt. Although we chat very regularly , there is never any pressure from Matt as to when or what to play.We discussed a few things and decided that we would like another crack at the 45s ,but this time coaching from an established player at these games would need to be obtained. Wheels were put in motion and Ray agreed to tutor me.(Matt and Ray have agreed a timescale -hours of lessons/number of games - and in return a % of profit(hopefully  :D ) will be shipped to Ray which in turn will benefit Blonde.
I have taken a more disciplined approach to playing these, whereas before i would lay on my bed with my laptop on my knees, i have introduced a new regime.(me with structure in my life-who'd a thunk it )
I rise at eight thirty, make a coffee and lay in bed catching up with Skysports News. Nine oclock sees my bathroom duties done and i take the dog for a mile or two walk.
Ten oclock i fire up the computer in my office and after a quick read of Blonde,a quick session with Sitngo Wiz going over any hands from the day before, i get cracking.
Currently i am 10/14 tabling quite comfortably so will be looking too increase the number of tables as the year progresses.I normally play circa 100 games a day, usually finishing 5pm/6pm

This diary will not be the most entertaining diary on Blonde, there are many that i could never compete with in terms of storytelling and interaction with the viewers, nor do i wish to.
What it will be , is ,
an honest account of the highs and lows of grinding 45 man turbos five days a week ,
the occasional ruminations of an old Norfolk yokel ,
           updated regularly.

   December 2010

I started at the beginning of December grinding Monday to Friday. So far i have had one three hour session with Ray,the next one scheduled for early January.

           (boodereham on pokerstars)

             Games played......1880
             Profit...................$1540

          The future

The plan is to continue grinding the $6.50 45s for a while longer and then gradually include the $12s. Hopefully with Ray's help we can plug some leaks    and improve the R.O.I.
Supernova ? well maybe..depends an awful lot on a variety of things but if it is possible later in the year then hell yes we will give it a shot.

Many thanks for taking the time to read , and a Happy and Prosperous New Year to you all.

I love you Boo.

Glad you decided to go public with this. The support from Blondes will be invaluable through any downswongs and also in the run up to the SN goal later in the year.

Early contender for thread of the year imo.

Many thanks for the good luck messages.

Well 2011 is off to a profitable start. Managed a few cashes early which is always nice , and only really ran bad in the last twenty or so games where i don't think i won a race, bubbled the last game AK V 99.  (It also helped that Longy and Monda stayed away from the tables)

Games played           120
Profit / Loss         + $108

Watched Four Lions last night and i was very impressed. Contained some real laugh out loud moments and Nigel Lindsay as Barry is the pick of an impressive cast.

Sigh @ Stars. Sat down at 10 am in readiness for another day of grinding.....server restart scheduled. Due back online at noon so i busy myself with other stuff and return at noon. Sit watching the green bar trying to connect me for twenty minutes and give up.Will play Saturday or Sunday to catch up on the missed games.

Gonna have a day catching up with a bit of reading, halfway through Vicky Coren's  For Richer For Poorer which,as far as poker books go , is a decent read.

Also have two books by Conn Iggulden still to read from The Conquerer Series,a four part telling of the life and times of Genghis Khan. Iggulden is a master of epic historical fiction and alongside Bernard Cornwell ranks as my favourite author. Cornwells The Grail Quest is a simply stunning account of life as an archer during the build up and aftermath of The Hundred Years War.The movie Agincourt is rumoured to be in production and if it is true to Cornwell's book then it will be a major success when released.

I quite often get the munchies late at night whilst watching a movie or sport and invariably the cupboards are bare when this happens. Solution -  go online and get a selection of sweeties to keep me company through these dark times. Delivery arrived yesterday,Retro sweets FTW....http://www.aquarterof.co.uk/all_sweets.php

R.I.P Gerry Rafferty , many hours were spent in the company of your music and the related memories will last a lifetime.Sleep well Sir.

Started off pretty well today, had a few good stacks then for some strange reason i lost my internet connection although my computer was telling me that my connection was ok.Couldn't connect to anything,so frustrating when you play turbos  ;frustrated;   It took twenty minutes before i was able to get back on,luckily i managed to min cash one of the remaining comps  :D
Had three or four minor disconnections through the afternoon, these seem to be happening on a regular basis on stars now, such a shame.
Don't think i played my "A" game today, partly due to the disconnections, was expecting to be quite a bit down so relatively happy with the result.

Games played           128    (368 )
  Profit / Loss         - $58   (+236)

Also got $10 for reaching 750 vpps    ;yippee;

If he does not fly across the room intent on drawing blood every time I enter the room, I would love to.

Monday. Don't know if it was a stars fault or tableninja,i suspect the latter, but i got sat out of three tournys early today and couldn't get back in.Also when anybody on those tables made any action, the table would steal focus from my other tables making it difficult to execute any actions on them.I eventually blinded out of all three. luckily i had no other problems.

Saw you were sat out in one of the games today, still having the same problems?

Tuesday.  Not a good day.Got disconnected three times today for ten minutes at a time so finished the session after 60 ish games about $140 down. The tilt monkey is on my back.
Spent the rest of the day disconnecting everything, cleaning and reconnecting, see if that makes a difference.

Wednesday. Had no problems today except for running really bad.Was expecting a downswing at some point ,could have been a lot worse.Played 150 games with a loss of $279.Just two cashes in my first 60 games was a big hurdle to overcome.

Thursday. Had no problems today until early afternoon when my connection went and i couldnt get back at all.Was playing 15 tables-it sucks to blind out of them all.Had a few discussions and it seems the router could be buggered.Took a trip to Tesco's and picked up a shiny new one.Except i got the wrong one,gg me.Anyhoo i deceided to rig it up using a bit of inginuity(sp) and wonder of wonders it worked.Tried a late night session to see if any problems - no discos at all,50 games at a profit reduced the days losses to $66

Gonna invest in one of those dongle things that Matt suggested as a backup.

Heres hoping for a profitable, stressfree Friday.

Right,my new Heath Robinson contraption appears to have just been fooling me.
Have been into town and purchased a new router and one of those dongle thingys.Apparently i am right on the edge of the coverage area, but hopefully should be enough coverage if i need to revert to the dongle.Have also situated the router closer to my workplace. Also got myself a cheap little nokia phone as my old one had problems charging.Expensive day but meh, whatcha gonna do. Probably play a session tonight after ive had my fish and chips.

Saturday.  Had a good four hour session with Ray.He's very quick to spot potential leaks,so we worked on a couple that i had.   Had a pizza,then put my new improved knowledge into practice but apparently some bugger has nicked my run good.  Played 140 games for a loss of $370   ;grr;

Monday. Another 150 games today. My play has definately improved but the results do not confirm this.Am running really bad, blah de blah but remaining confident. After the great start we were expecting a downswong at some point, time to get going in the opposite direction now though,so if i could have that run good back it would be appreciated.

Nice one Boo.  Are you also pleased to see the back of Babel?  Definitely not a Dalglish player.

Anyway, get to work and win loads.

Definately.Came with plenty of promise but thats all it has proved to be.Had enough chances over the past three years but just didnt deliver except for the occasional glimpse of his undoubted talent. He could probably do an excellent job in the championship but just isnt premier class(not the only Liverpool player that you could say that about)
Be interesting to see who we purchase(if anybody) ,i don't think major alterations are needed but there are definately two or three positions that need strengthening.

Yeah I was thinking that was a lot of regs when I started regging today. If anything the 6.50's were harder than the higher buyins today.

Nicely done - run goodness returns, may it last a long time.
I heard that Monda guy had given up?  Beer tokens from Nottingham must have run out.

Joke of the day - What do Liverpool and South Park have in common?  They will both kill Kenny.

Not joke of the day - What do Arsenal and Hollyoakes have in common?  Full of talented youngsters that look good and win nothing - sigh.

For me I grind when I am up, sometimes I get up like normal people, sometimes I get up when poker players do and sometimes I get up at ridic hours that only I can seem to keep.

At the moment I am in the normal category hence grinding during the day.

When you are playing 10-25 tables and the same players appear in most of them every day, it's a safe bet that they are regs.

If you are getting to the point where an internet disconnection is costing you £100, you need something better than standard ADSL/ Virgin, in my opinion. Might be worth looking at getting a leased line, or at least some kind of automatic 3G dongle backup.

WOW   That's a hell of a tough one. We have been blessed with some real quality players (and some shockingly bad ones ! ) and i have been following them since the late 60's which makes it even harder.

GK    Clemence ,Ray
Just gets the nod over Reina. In an era when there was only one sub and atrocious playing surfaces he really was in a different  class.Never wore gloves early in his career either.

RB   Neal , Phil
Probably the easiest selection.Nicknamed Zico by the Kop.Excellent penalty taker.

LB   Lindsay , Alec
Such a cultured left foot , always seemed to have so much time on the ball.Didn't see as much of him as the later players but only Alan Kennedy runs him close.

CB's  We have been blessed with some outstanding central defenders from Ron Yeats and Larry Lloyd through Emlyn Hughes,Lawrenson ,Thompson and Carragher but i would have to pick Alan Hansen and Hyypia.Hansen is probably the best defender i have ever seen at bringing the ball out of defence, always looking so calm and comfortable in posession. And Sami ?  well the guy is a legend,he has to be a bit special to get the nod over Carra.Chips in with valuable goals and has the heart of a lion.

RM    Callaghan was the obvious choice but with so many midfield candidates i have chosen Gerrard.I have never seen a guy inspire and lead a team like Stevie.Even from his youth days you could see he was going to be quality.Class , pure class.

LM    Barnes , John. Nicknamed Tarmac (the black Heighway).Along with many fans , i was unsure if he was good enough and consistant enough to play for Liverpool. He soon left us in no doubt, winning the player of the year and the Football Writers award. If only he could have reproduced his club form for his country.

CM   This was the hardest position.Hamann and Alonso would certainly get in many fans sides,as would Terry McDermott and one of the most underrated players i have ever seen-Ray Kennedy.(older Gooners will know just what a special player he was). My two choices are Jan Molby and Graeme Souness.Love him or hate him, there is no denying that Souness was an outstanding player.Arrogant perhaps, but an arrogance borne from his belief that he was the best player on the pitch and more often than not he was.Jan was quite simply the best passer of a ball i had seen at that time or since.Always carried a bit of weight but what he lacked in mobility he more than made up for with his vision.

CF  It breaks my heart to not include Robbie Fowler but the pairing of Dalglish and Rush is the best strikeforce i have been privelidged to watch.

Soooooooooooo

1..Clemence
2..Neal
3.Lindsay.
4..Hyypia

9..Rush
10.Barnes

Torres

And the worst XI

1..Itandje , C
2..Kvarme , B
3..Dicks , J
4..Kippe , F
5..Hysen , G
6..Kozma I
7..Diomede , B

Had another decent strat session with Raymondo. I have got certain aspects of the strategy pretty nailed , got two or three parts to work on.I find that the older i get , the harder it is to retain information (alcohol and drugs in my youth to blame i reckon  ;D ) so im constantly having to remind myself of the correct plays.

Was intending to play two 100 game sessions today.  Played 100 (+$55) then cooked myself some grub. Rump steak , mushrooms , peppers , beetroot , bacon , home made wedges and two corn on the cob. Feel pretty bloated now so just gonna chill and watch the footy. Will up the volume tomorrow.

I often talk to myself when I play, especially when I am playing sub standard. I find it helps to vocalise my thought process, it is prob got something to do with me being a headcase as well but whatever.

Pretty frustrating , seems like one step forward is being followed by two steps back.   Had a bad two hour session yesterday where i found myself with two or three players on every table playing ridiculous stats. How profitable can it be to play  90/55 , 78/0 , and one guy with a  3 bet 27% ?  obv against me it is very profitable  :(

Weds   195 games  -$176
Thurs   100 games  +$118

Have decided to restrict myself to playing 14 tables max. I am finding that any more than this and i am often timing out on a couple, especially if a table pops up where there has been plenty of action. By the time i have computed the relevant information and the stats of the players involved i have got a queue of tables waiting. 3 betting with AA and timing out is not good.   ;grr;

On the plus side , i managed to school Raymondo heads up today when his KJ failed to outdraw my K5        ;yippee;

Definitely a good idea to drop a couple of tables if your timing out while you get used to having HEM. Run better against others instead please, kthxbye.

A lot better today with the reduced number of tables.

120 games   +$258

Result was helped by winning 4 on the bounce (always nice to play well when the boss is watching   ;) )

Found out today that Actionman (Rick Trigg) cashed for $70K the other night. Chuffed to bits for him. He's a great lad ,gets a lot of stick , especially for his fashion sense but takes it in good heart.Been lucky enough to watch him on a few occasions and the boy can certainly play. Well done mate.
Spent a bit of time with him in Macau (freerolled it on Pokerstars using FPP's on the steps).  Report here   http://blondepoker.com/forum/index.php?topic=29290.0   (includes the infamous silver shorts pic)

Have mostly been listening to early Bowie stuff whilst grinding today.

One of my favourites from Aladdin Sane.

Just read the thread, good luck with it all (and especially the internet connection... hope you can get it sorted properly).

That A8s hand above is on the bubble, right? I think it's probably a fold, no? Even if he's shoving 100%, which he obviously is.

He was Class with a capital C.     He was class at Millwall , but never played anywhere near that form at Liverpool. Didn't help his confidence that after Dalglish resigned the new manager obviously didnt fancy him.

Went out Sunday for a meal with most of the family. Had a great time and fully stuffed my face. Even had a couple of pints , a rarity these days.
On my return i had a quick 40 game session (-$30). Achieved Platinum which was my aim at the beginning of the month.

Monday just chilled apart from a major falling out with my daughter. Not going to be resolved quickly , unfortunately she is as stubborn as i am.

Tuesday.  Introduced a few $12s into my games today , went kinda well.

120 games   +$470

The biggest thing you have to learn about 45 mans on stars is Frutilupes always has it and if he doesn't he will get there.

So the weekend was spent at chez Nakor. As always mine host was very generous and the food and company was first class.

The poker , not so much so. I have played an awful lot of poker there , be it MTTs , SnGos , or cash and i dont think i have had a winning session , ever. Adam made some deep runs notably in two $11 rebuys but then proceded to blind/donk away when a big score was in sight.Im sure he will cash very big soon .

Friday   165 games   - $117
Saturday  170 games  -$136

Been quite busy today , helping my Dad with a few jobs and taking my Mum up to Tescos for the weekly shop so just played a mini session.

50 games  +$88

Having a session shortly with Raymondo then gonna watch True Grit whilst enjoying a curry.

Title: Re: Grinding For Dough - A Loafers Litany.
Post by: booder on February 09, 2011, 08:28:32 PM
Had a good session with Ray,he can notice the difference in my play and i am making very few mistakes so obv i am happy with that.

Watched True Grit , thoroughly enjoyed it. Jeff Bridges was superb as the hard drinking Rooster Cogburn but the star of the movie was Hailee Steinfeld. A tremendous performance from one so young and a bright future surely awaits.

Now poker...was going ok yesterday but mid afternoon a lot of players had connection problems (not me ! ) and the games stopped registering so i just finished the batch i was playing and left it at that.
75 games played  -$4      lost 2 $11 games whilst heads up  AK V A4 , KK V A3

160 Games played today   -$331   Had no problems reaching final tables but the majority were minor cashes which is very disappointing.Never seemed to hit a flop on the occasions i was behind so hopefully tomorrow will see the doomswitch turned off.

Reached 10k  vpps today so they are mounting up nicely.

Catchup time.....

Thursday   135 games  +$30
Friday        120             -$36
Monday     150             +$2

Seems to me from viewing Sharkscope , that a lot of regs are on losing/break even runs at the minute. Have been studying hand historys so i'm confident that i'm making the correct plays, i guess it is just down to the fact that there are a lot more regs now than there has ever been (not all of them are good). Just gonna keep plugging away and take advantage of any edge that i can find.

Don't really know what information i can give you.As stated before , i get up , walk the dog then sit in front of my computer for 6 or 7 hours. I could post loads of hand historys but you have all suffered many many beats and would soon get bored of them.

I'm not a great conversationist in RL , i do ok with the small talk but nothing of any substance. I guess this stems from the fact that i am a bit of a loner , i enjoy my own company and can always find something to keep me occupied. I have spent most of my adult life alone. I was married to the girl of my dreams but it transpired that i was not the man of hers. Got engaged a couple of times but had to give them both the elbow after it became clear that they were resentful of the attention i lavished on my daughter (i had weekend custody of her).

Spent twelve years driving HGV's sometimes going two or three days without interacting with another human being. The money was very good but spending six days a week and anything up to 110 hours a week working eventually burnt me out.

Got a local driving job after a short break but had to give it up after back problems and since then i have been more or less a hermit. I get the occasional weekend away either at a poker tournament or with a very good friend Adam but most of the time i spend alone.

Don't really know why im rambling like this , just trying to explain the lack of interaction in my posts i suppose, will try harder.    :D

Last night it was leftover curry , rice , onion bhajis and naan bread. Probably not a great idea at 2.30 am.

Was awake at 7am this morning with a dicky tummy so the dog had a quick walk and i retired to my bed again. Giving the poker a miss today seems like a good idea but will mean that i will be having a Saturday session this week as i am helping my sister move on Friday (again ! ). She is moving two doors away from me which will be cool.

Every morning i spend 45 mins-1 hr. look at exits from previous days tournys making sure i was making the correct play.will often load up a complete tourny to see if i missed any spots.Prefer doing it before starting a session as it is fresh in the mind then.

Was going to have a weekend at Chez Nak next weekend, but want to see if we can get a couple of days at the lucky IP? sounds good.count me in.
You never know Slim might actually grace your wonderful diary with a reply????  Haha    sure will happen.

Get well soon - fancy posioning yourself what sort of twat does that?   Ty lol  gl gooners tonight.

Posts like this are awesome mate.

I've never met you and know v little about you and these are the ones I find most interesting.

Thank you Mr Stein. Will try and include a few more snippets of information. I'm probably better at replying to questions rather than posting random guff but will do my best. I have to admit , you are the blonde that i would most like to meet being a fellow proboscis  person.

Sigh almost a compliment but you're just another one who wants to see the schnozz.

I thought we could of had something special. Now I hope longy outdraws you 1 short of the bubble in a sng (paul ho will then bust longy).

Games played     150
Profit                  $88

Pretty annoyed with myself. Couple of hours from the end of my session i had a mega rush of cards and got some nice stacks. I then picked up AA six times in as many minutes and lost every one. It wasn't the fact that i lost which tilted me , beats are part and parcel of these games , it was the fact that every time bar one it was the only guy at the table who could bust me.  I lost to AK , 10 10 , AQ ,KK and QJ off twice. Took me quite a while to compose myself afterwards but managed to close out the session in a better frame of mind.

Rigged IMO, it's always the guy that can bust you.

Seriously..profit's a profit after something like that happens. Keep it up mate.

Friday...........as mentioned earlier we helped my sister move house.Everything went smoothly , only one mirror got broken - well done Dad !    Suffered a bit Saturday with sore shoulders and back , been a while since i did any manual labour. :D
Played a 100 game session on Saturday and lost $230. I just can't seem to win on Saturdays for some reason.

Monday...150 games played
               $217  profit.

Really pleased with the way i am playing , making the correct decisions in the majority of situations. Will be looking to include a few more $12s next month.

Losing 100 buyins hurts.
Not physically obviously but mentally it hurts like hell.
Anybody that plays high volume understands variance but it doesn't make the pain any more bearable.

Played 150 games Tuesday but despite managing to cash in the same number of tournys as the previous session , finished $245 down.Only managed to get headsup in 4 or 5 and the majority of cashes were 7th , 6th and 5ths.

Wednesday was even worse. After managing just 3 cashes in the first 60 games , i stopped regging , ending up with 73 games played for an abysmal loss of $381.
Stopped regging after this hand, i guess this shows how i am running.

*** FLOP *** [8d Qd 7s]
*** TURN *** [8d Qd 7s] [2c]
*** RIVER *** [8d Qd 7s 2c] [5s]
*** SHOW DOWN ***
scooggler: shows [6h As] (high card Ace)
boodereham: shows [Jd Td] (high card Queen)

Busied myself after the session by hoovering and dusting. Then got an old tin bath to wash some heavy duty curtains (liberated from a skip) which i am going to turn into a throw for the sofa.

Spent the evening with an old mate who i hadn't visited for a while. He used to play the sit n gos on will hill back in the day so he looked over a few hand historys with me and was quite compimentary about my play , not finding any leaks was good for my peace of mind.

Thursday i spent six solid hours loading up historys on a replayer and going through them and could find no glaring mistakes so just gotta get my head down and grind through the rough times.

Played 100 games today. Was down to the last final table....2nd would break me even for the day , a win would make it profitable.

Ho hum

Asleep halfway through can 3 - Standard

Managed 5 cans. A far cry from the alcohol intake of my youth but since i turned 21 i have probably been drunk once , perhaps twice. I was a heavy drinker through my teens regularly spending Sundays virtually comatose.Eventually i tired of the constant vomiting and feelings of nausea after a session and after a mega binge on my 21st i consigned large alcohol intake to the memory bank.I learned to drink to contentment , not to excess , something i practice to this day.

                                                                                                 Weekend Review

Football

West Ham v Liverpool.

Not too disappointed in the result in all honesty. This season is a work in progress for Kenny. In general the team is progressing well , the old passing game has returned and most of the players are showing their true form. Suarez looks tidy and i think he will gel well with Carroll. A centreback is an essential purchase before next season and the dead wood has to be got rid of...Ngog (will do a decent job in the championship but isn't going to cut it in the premiership)....Cole (really excited by his arrival but underwhelmed by his performances-his wages off the bill would be a massive positive)....Skrtel (looked great when we first signed him but has gone steadily downhill)..Poulsen (not good enough-end of).
Shame about the injury to Kelly , he has been one of the positives of this dour season.
Hopefully Grant can keep the Hammers up , i think he has had a rough time and has done pretty well with the squads that he has inherited.

Arsenal.

One of the few teams i would pay to watch. So much talent in the team but they invariably come up short when it really matters. It was clear at the beginning of the season that they needed a top quality centreback and keeper , i don't know the internal policies with respect to transfers but could the failure to purchase these two positions ultimately lead to Wengers departure ? Stranger things have happened - 5 years without a trophy is an awful long time and even though they still have opportunities for silverware this season , you wouldnt bet against the Gooners coming up short yet again.

WTF 1

Rooney.  Guy has so much ability but the brain cells seem to be lacking. What the hell was that elbow all about? Losing him for a potential 3 or 4 games at this stage of the season will have Fergie tearing his hair out.

WTF 2

Ashley Cole. Another who seems to be lacking in the upstairs department. Taking an airgun into your place of work sure seems like a good idea.

Cricket.

What a game.Swinging one way then the other.Looked like England were gonna cruise to victory after Strauss' superb innings and to have all three results possible at the death was just amazing.

UFC 127.

    Pretty decent smattering of fights.
Mark Hunt v Chris Tuchscherer.   Chris got rocked early and was badly cut. The referee had a look and Chris said "i have something in my eye".  "It's your eyelid" replied the ref.  Yuck.
    Michael Bisping v Jorge Rivera.
A lot of bad blood coming into this fight. Bisping always looks vulnerable to the straight right but managed to avoid too much damage before stopping Rivera in Rd 2, although the illegal knee by Bisping in Rd 1 definately harmed his opponents chances. The middleweight category is a bit short on real quality at the minute and we may well see Bisping making a title challenge in the near future.
Jon Fitch v BJ Penn. Disappointing fight.Neither guy really got going and it would be real sad if this was Penns  last fight.

Session with Ray tonight and back to the grind tomorrow.

Me too, although i don't think it's always neccessary to "get" the lyrics to appreciate the quality of a song.

I've heard people say it's a song that is bemoaning the corruption of a young girl by society, I've heard that it's about a girl who he sees and watches but cannot help, save nor understand, I've heard it described as a gay anthem. And perhaps it is something of all of these things as it portrays a sense of confusion and bewilderment, somewhat depressed and perhaps even slightly depressing (which is in stark contrast to most other Cockney Rebel songs).

Been a bit slack with the updates....been spending my spare time helping my sister to get her garden straight. Chopping down conifers and digging over the soil so that her son can have a little garden. Looking forward to homegrown vegetables.

Tuesday  8th march.  Ended up cutting the session short at 20 games. Tableninja was playing up...everytime it went through the registration cycle my tables became very very laggy, taking 2 or 3 seconds for my mouse clicks to register. This lead to a few misclicks and minor tilt. Managed one min cash.

Why not ship when he limps SB?

All through the final table i predicted that i would end up heads up with Thuy_LoveYou. I figured that if i shoved here and got looked up , it would hinder my chances of making the same play heads up as he was playing pretty good and im sure he would have taken notice.

Why did u ship it there boo?

Guy had been raising big aces , Kx , pairs. His flop bet just stunk of air , i figured him for a baby ace or Jack small type hands. im never dead here ,an 8 gives me the nuts and 9 or ten is most probably a winner. Also my shove looks mega strong...i must have Kx , 2 pr   or flush draw right ?
Sometimes you just have to go with your read ,rightly or wrongly.
