Title: Premier league darts 2011 Post by: Nico29 on February 10, 2011, 02:53:17 PM Anyone going tonight?
I'm popping round to the 02 and can't wait! Bets, beers and sport-brilliant! I've found bets tough tonight with 4 tight looking matches, thus have permed draws, 2 up and profit, 3 up and wiiiiiiiiiiii, 4 up and it's holiday time. Also backed lewis at evens for most 180's v taylor a few days back, now 5-6 which i still think is fair enough. Also on the over 7.5 180's in the anderson whitlock match which should be a cracker. Anyone had some punts on this themselves? Feeling taylor at 13-8 odd could be a steal for the title. Best get on the beers! Worth bearing in mind before having a bet i would have thought. Not sure if its the right mind to smash into lewis given his mental stability isnt the greatest at the best of times. Might work the other way though and focus the mind. Title: Re: Premier league darts 2011 Post by: Longy on February 10, 2011, 03:11:46 PM I am going to the Manchester leg on March 10th.

Cheers for info, all info is always good. :) I'm not saying he'll win the match, but off day or not that guy throws treble 20's for fun/in his sleep. Haven't bet huge, but i took the value, the market has moved the right way and i'm very happy with that bet. Title: Re: Premier league darts 2011 Post by: Dubai on February 10, 2011, 03:14:40 PM How weird
In box tonight- just putting bets on and in last 2 years 25/98 games been draws- this year gonna be tightest ever so ive done doubles on the draws, with increased stakes in any double that has the Anderson game in it Also the over 12.5 legs in the Anderson game at 8-13 is miles too big, looks a solid 2-5 chance to me- but cant get enough on Title: Re: Premier league darts 2011 Post by: Nico29 on February 10, 2011, 03:16:43 PM How weird In box tonight- just putting bets on and in last 2 years 25/98 games been draws- this year gonna be tightest ever so ive done doubles on the draws, with increased stakes in any double that has the Anderson game in it Also the over 12.5 legs in the Anderson game at 8-13 is miles too big, looks a solid 2-5 chance to me- but cant get enough on Similar thoughts wiiiii. Will get on the overs on that leg bet now mate. Cheers dubai. Title: Re: Premier league darts 2011 Post by: doglayer on February 10, 2011, 03:20:11 PM The draws have always been overpriced in this event since the start. An each of two match is obv where the draw is the greatest value. The maths in an each of two game makes the draw should be a shade over 3/1 yet its always been easily available over 4/1. Best to stick to close each of two games and you will def show a profit backing the draw at the available prices.
Title: Re: Premier league darts 2011 Post by: Dubai on February 10, 2011, 03:25:40 PM for any stattos- i ignored the Mardle games from 2 years ago as he withdrew and they didnt count- plus Taylor skews the stats by never drawing his share of games- if the gap between him and the rest is closing then there can only be more draws.
Title: Re: Premier league darts 2011 Post by: doglayer on February 10, 2011, 03:33:16 PM totally agree dubai. It was the one sided blow outs which involved taylor and, to a lesser extent, Barney in his prime in the early years which made the overall draw stats look like their wasnt an edge in backing the draw. Take those out and just use the sample of games where both players were odds against in the 3 way match market and the draw % would easily show a decent profit backing around the 4/1-9/2 mark. Cant imagine there will be many matches this year where the fav will be odds on in the 3 way match market (taylor 8/11 tonight shortest of the 4 matches)
For small stakes a yankee on the 4 draws each week wont see you go skint with the chance of a massive pay day. Title: Re: Premier league darts 2011 Post by: Nico29 on February 10, 2011, 03:34:07 PM Lewis on talksport at moment, sounds pretty level headed and somewhat jolly tbh.
Title: Re: Premier league darts 2011 Post by: doglayer on February 10, 2011, 03:36:35 PM A mate of mine who works at bet365 said he was out in Lewis's home town last night and his missus was out on the p*ss with her mates not looking like she give a fuck about them spitting up.

Love the arras. No real reasoning, Just a gutshot (which ppl always hit against me) Wade 1st 9 darter @ 16s For tonight, Taylor,Wade,Anderson and Barney. @13s Crazy jealous you are gonna be there. Title: Re: Premier league darts 2011 Post by: doglayer on February 10, 2011, 04:12:04 PM Off to see what Bet 'i dont understand why you would bet anywhere else - em maybe so i can get on' Fred will lay me in his shops on the draws in multis as he is one of the few firms now who is 4/1 every draw. My head is telling me to leave the Taylor match out and just do a trixie with the other 3 games which are all closer on paper.
Title: Re: Premier league darts 2011 Post by: doglayer on February 10, 2011, 04:13:57 PM What you think the over/under is on the unit stake he will lay a draw trixie to in one shop which i have never been in before? Think he will lay a £200 trixie?
Title: Re: Premier league darts 2011 Post by: Madone on February 10, 2011, 04:15:27 PM Done a small acca for the 4 games tonight.
Webster v Wade draw Anderson to beat Whitlock Barney to beat Jenkins Taylor to beat Lewis should be the best premier league ever! Title: Re: Premier league darts 2011 Post by: ACE2M on February 10, 2011, 04:17:24 PM i've got tickets for the final.
Lewis's mrs has moved on shall we say and Aidy is enjoying his new freedom for sure. Think i'd rather lay lewis though, his right arm has been getting practice at downing pints rather than throwing arras since the world champs. Title: Re: Premier league darts 2011 Post by: Nico29 on February 10, 2011, 04:30:07 PM What you think the over/under is on the unit stake he will lay a draw trixie to in one shop which i have never been in before? Best of luck though, boy i hate that advert! :) Title: Re: Premier league darts 2011 Post by: Dubai on February 10, 2011, 04:37:39 PM Ladbrokes are 4s all draws. They will lay a very decent bet

Title: Re: Premier league darts 2011 Post by: sweet potata! on February 10, 2011, 07:31:08 PM What was going on there at the end of the 2nd leg , anyone know?
Title: Re: Premier league darts 2011 Post by: doglayer on February 10, 2011, 07:40:28 PM no idea. Wade didnt look happy. He gets rattled so easily for a top player.
Title: Re: Premier league darts 2011 Post by: doglayer on February 10, 2011, 07:57:17 PM nice call major on webster. Wade was awful 2nd half of the game.
Title: Re: Premier league darts 2011 Post by: Snowball on February 10, 2011, 07:57:34 PM What was going on there at the end of the 2nd leg , anyone know? Not had a chance to confirm it but almost sure Wade should have had the throw in the 1st Leg.It was good of them to change the schedule, Taylor v Lewis was first up in nearly every book and website I looked at and it cost me not getting on Webster. He was 7/4 with Stan's, (an incredible price) ended up the match was played to both players current form over the past month or so. Jenkins at 2/1 with Hills is also very generous. Said the exact same about the Lewis 180 bet as Nico. I think the u/o 180's in the next has no edge and is priced correct. Title: Re: Premier league darts 2011 Post by: doglayer on February 10, 2011, 08:20:00 PM cant help thinking barney is a massive lay at 11/10. Jenkins does look big at 2/1 agreed.
Title: Re: Premier league darts 2011 Post by: Rod on February 10, 2011, 08:46:42 PM Great start to this the standard is amazing this year.
I agree that there has to be value in Jenkins @2/1 here. Title: Re: Premier league darts 2011 Post by: mondatoo on February 10, 2011, 10:09:07 PM Really expected Taylor to win when he had something to prove. Title: Re: Premier league darts 2011 Post by: doglayer on February 17, 2011, 03:29:05 AM no value at all tomorrow in the draws (all the games are too one sided) so its a watching brief for me.

Title: Re: Premier league darts 2011 Post by: doglayer on February 17, 2011, 06:43:16 PM anyone got any views for tonight. Struggling to get excited about it tbh.
Title: Re: Premier league darts 2011 Post by: Nico29 on February 17, 2011, 06:56:47 PM Feel lewis is value tonight against an overweight, somewhat disillusioned wade, large bet on at 10-11 which i think is 2 big.
Small dble on over 6.5 180's in anderson game and whitlock most 180s in barney game. Also a single in web/taylor game of webby most 180s@7/5. Gl all. Title: Re: Premier league darts 2011 Post by: Snowball on February 17, 2011, 07:00:13 PM anyone got any views for tonight. Struggling to get excited about it tbh. Title: Re: Premier league darts 2011 Post by: Nico29 on February 17, 2011, 07:52:57 PM Barney was really good there, happy 4 him. Also happy that whitlock won the 180s bet.
Wade looks too wired again, happy with my lewis bet...crushhhhhhhhh him! Wow lewis in2 8-11 pre match, thought 10-11 was too big, now to win of crse. Title: Re: Premier league darts 2011 Post by: Teacake on February 17, 2011, 07:56:00 PM Yeah Wade looks pished

lovely finish great game wpwpwpwp wadey Title: Re: Premier league darts 2011 Post by: Nico29 on February 17, 2011, 08:30:26 PM Puke!
Wadey did deserve it tho, that was him just using sheer talent while still looking a bit of a mess mentally/soberwise. Lewis will bounce back next week, he just missed some key doubles and ran in2 some1 just on song. Title: Re: Premier league darts 2011 Post by: The Camel on February 17, 2011, 08:33:43 PM No draws from 6 so far.
I'm doing my bollocks here. Title: Re: Premier league darts 2011 Post by: outragous76 on February 17, 2011, 08:35:54 PM wadey is obv hammered!

Obv appearances can be deceptive as he say's he's never been happier, no body language expert obv but his stance/face-everything else said opposite. Sometimes i think i can read too much in2 these things, bk to the stats from now on. Oh and tiltish topup on webby most 180s at 7/5, still think its pretty big whether taylor fires or not. Title: Re: Premier league darts 2011 Post by: Nico29 on February 17, 2011, 09:04:40 PM Written off my webby 180 bet, but laying taylor for a few quid at 1.28, think webby is playing well and taylor finished badly last week, didn't start badly.
Wobble time? Title: Re: Premier league darts 2011 Post by: Nico29 on February 17, 2011, 09:24:05 PM Boy was taylor up 4 that. And webby was vul.
Nightmare evening so far, gotta get something up in last game, may press my overs 180s bet or get on high check too. Crowd seems to be making them play top top stuff. Better atmosphere than in o2 last week 4 sure. Edit-pressed 180s bet and never seen so many close shaves, was only 5 made, clda, prob shlda been 10+ Absolooooooot nightmare of an evening moneywise, great darts tho! :) Title: Re: Premier league darts 2011 Post by: doglayer on February 18, 2011, 04:44:09 AM no value in the draws tonight hence why i didnt get involved. Every fav was odds on tonight 3 way so nothing in the draws which is why i didnt get involved.
Title: Re: Premier league darts 2011 Post by: action man on February 18, 2011, 05:06:37 AM sick for whitlock & lewis followers tonight, they ran into wade and barney playing the best they have for years ans years

Title: Re: Premier league darts 2011 Post by: doglayer on February 25, 2011, 09:11:46 AM There has only been 5 games out of 12 where the draw was value. Only one massive value (wade v whitlock tonight the best by a mile as it was a proper 6/4 6/4 4/1 game) if wade was sober it would probably have landed. It was done at 5/4 inrunning so no excuse on that one not to have made a profit or at least had a risk free bet.

Title: Re: Premier league darts 2011 Post by: Nico29 on March 03, 2011, 07:04:34 PM Here are my bets tonight:
Jenkins-whitlock, def a game btwn the two who have looked most likely to struggle so far, altho wade cld join them soon enough. Looks one where both might take a draw if offered it, that's my opinion on the game and am on at 5.8 on betfair. Lewis- webby cld be a close one, wld expect lewis to win cosily if he was firing on all cylinders, but he seems to be taking gaps in matches, webby also has something to prove after last week. Think that it cld be a draw too and am on around 4-1 again on betfair and as a larger bet have gone over 121 checkout, both players are more than capable of this. Wade-anderson cld be a steamroll job if last week is anything to go on. Can't help thinking wade needs to get more sober and lose some of those pounds, still against lewis a couple of weeks back he played some outstanding darts. Anderson will score savagely and i'm on the correct scores of 8-4, 8-5 and 6 to the scotsman. Also a very small dabble on him -3 @6-4 with skybet, kinda weird from me here as im going against 2 of my corrects, but meh. In the barney taylor game im just jumnping large on the under 7 180s market, barney really just cant hit them for love nor money at mo, and phil willl just be happy beating his nemesis anyway. As well as the singles ive done all these in a cpla accas. Enjoy all! Title: Re: Premier league darts 2011 Post by: action man on March 03, 2011, 07:57:35 PM swinging for fences

Just got bk from books having had a lump on webby@8-11. Aftertime that is currently losing, ruddy jenks is diff player to last cple of weeks, and web dsnt seem to be on it. Also done most 180s gary anderson v taylor at lads v generous 8-11 which is a standout price compared to a general 8-13 on offer. I think all the last 3 games cld be draws tonight, have done singles and a trixie. Now if only webster can win 6 out of the next 8 legs please! Wont be long tho imo till anderson is king of the castle. He threw 4 180s last nite, so did taylor. Here is his 180 tally over the 5 weeks: 6- Week 1 3- Week 2 7- Week 3 2- Week 4 4- Week 5 Thus he averaged 4.5 b4 last night, not exactly loads less than usual hey? On average if a player scores 3/4 it's about the right line, for someone like anderson 4/5 would be about right. Stats ftw! :) Ps-Did my nuts last night so stats didnt help me! I don't think Whitlock played badly at all.. he was averaging well over 100 at the break. Until it got to 5 or 6-1 he was playing fine, just blown away by Lewis's finishing. It was the most impressive performance of the Premier League I've seen so far (missed Lewis v Taylor in wk 1) Title: Re: Premier league darts 2011 Post by: Sark79 on March 15, 2011, 05:52:14 PM I had tickets for Glasgow, but now have to work instead :'( . Smaller venues mean a better atmosphere, plus likely more respectful darts fans

Lewis and Taylor double for me. Taylor looks back to his best and the 15/8 for him to have the highest 3 Dart average looks overpriced. He had a 104 last week and 114, 11 107, 108 in 4 of his 5 games at the weekend in Holland over the same format.
