anderson did turn up, thats the thing, the 177 taylor threw to set up the break in the last leg was all phil the power taylor, thats why he is the best

Anderson threw 3? 180's. Been averaging double that and more.

Played like a wanker on Taylor's throw.

Agree with Camel, Anderson played like a bit of a spanner, his normal 180 prowess just wasnt there, It was uncanny how he would open up with a bag of nails on Taylors throw nearly every Leg. Taylor is no longer feared by these boys.

Dont agree about anderson, he plyd ok just bottled it a bit in last cple of legs, taylor will do that to u.

Wont be long tho imo till anderson is king of the castle.

He threw 4 180s last nite, so did taylor.

Here is his 180 tally over the 5 weeks:

6- Week 1

3- Week 2

7- Week 3

2- Week 4

4- Week 5

Thus he averaged 4.5 b4 last night, not exactly loads less than usual hey?

On average if a player scores 3/4 it's about the right line, for someone like anderson 4/5 would be about right.

Stats ftw! Smiley

Ps-Did my nuts last night so stats didnt help me!

It was a strange match that just shows how far the standard has risen, It felt like both players were off their throw yet both probs finished around 100 avg.100 plus avgs were rare as rockin horse droppings not so long ago.

I don't think Whitlock played badly at all.. he was averaging well over 100 at the break.

Until it got to 5 or 6-1 he was playing fine, just blown away by Lewis's finishing.

It was the most impressive performance of the Premier League I've seen so far (missed Lewis v Taylor in wk 1)

What a disgrace the fans were in Anderson Lewis match, bit of banter is fine, but to throw beer and coins at Lewis is unacceptable. Ruined what should have been a great game, hope they don't have an event there next year to punish those morons.
