Title: Turbo MTT final spot Post by: stato_1 on June 13, 2011, 02:44:52 AM What range are we shoving here vs unknowns?

Something like 66+,ATo,KTs. Doesn't this make it a way better reason to jam than to be nitty? I very much doubt I ever fold a pair or suited ace here Title: Re: Turbo MTT final spot Post by: Solaris on June 13, 2011, 09:44:53 AM Being that everyone is one AIP away from busto/screwed i'm not shoving too overly wide here with ~12bb's. If we have a calling station in the blinds we should have a very tight shoving range etc. If there's a winning player behind who will call the shoves fairly light thinking our range is pretty wide then obviously we can't be shoving a5s. As a general rule I'm shoving something like 22+, ATo+, KQo Title: Re: Turbo MTT final spot Post by: redarmi on June 13, 2011, 10:24:53 AM Pretty much never doing anything other than shoving or folding unless I have limp folded to a very aggressive player earlier on and think he might do it again. I like Ho's range but am probably a bit wider tbh. This is the time to be applying the pressure.
Title: Re: Turbo MTT final spot Post by: Rupert on June 13, 2011, 11:00:15 AM I haven't done any maths on the situation but I reckon we could jam A5s turn our hand face up have them call perfectly and still be +EV. If not, then I would be pretty surprised if it wasn't +EV with our hand face down.
Title: Re: Turbo MTT final spot Post by: stato_1 on June 13, 2011, 02:49:09 PM A9o?

Can't imagine me folding many suited connectors here Folding A9o here would be terrrrrribad imo Title: Re: Turbo MTT final spot Post by: stato_1 on June 14, 2011, 02:40:36 AM thought so. results oriented threads ftl
Title: Re: Turbo MTT final spot Post by: PizzicatoXev on June 16, 2011, 09:10:43 AM 66+ a8+ kj+ maybe depends on how they are palying and if the bb is tight + ur image never raise folding I like this range alot though I would include 55 as well Only time I am not shoving or folding is when I have a monster (ie AK or JJ+) I will consider a raise (minraise most likely) call. Title: Re: Turbo MTT final spot Post by: AMRN on June 16, 2011, 10:12:42 AM Jamming 22+, A2+, KT+ in any position. in SB, jamming ATC in unopened pot. On BTN, jamming 22+, A2+, K7+, QT+.
Rarely calling a jam lighter than TT+, AQ+ though. |
