It was won by Neil Channing who took £64,050 from the £229,000 prize pool as well as his first GUKPT title; throughout the GUKPT’s history Luton has always proved one of the most popular stops nationwide and interest suggests this year will be no exception. For those who have yet to secure their seats on http://www.grosvenorcasinos.com/ or in live satellites, there are 10 seats guaranteed in the £30 Super Satellite this Sunday evening at the G Casino itself. Following that are two more during the week – one freezeout and one single-rebuy – to suit a range of bankrolls. Relaxed the rules last year for the GUKPT main JP, when some skandies turned up in flip-flops, also, when the pub league finals are on, they let them wear hoodies. Take a selection of clothing ftw. glglglglgl Title: Re: www.watches2u.com, sponsor of the GUKPT Luton Live Update Post by: Numpty Dumpty on August 16, 2011, 12:03:18 AM Im guessing Luton G are still "nazi" strict on trainers/denim? ooh good point. Jeans are fine, Tom, as are collarless shirts. Just standard "casual" really. Best not to wear trainers though, that might be a step too far. Cambridge brogues are fine. Good luck tonight! Title: Re: www.watches2u.com, sponsor of the GUKPT Luton Live Update Post by: JaffaCake on August 16, 2011, 05:58:19 PM I'm thinking of playing the £500 2moro night. Does anyone know if you can still buy in rake free online or is that no longer available? Rake free is still available online but it has to be done a couple of days before so they can physically process it (I bought in to the £500 and the £250 PLO rake free on Friday I think but it's too late for this one now). U also need to be the right VIP level which is pretty easy to attain, certainly u could rake enough in one day to get the VIP status. They're in the process of making this a bit easier to work out so u know exactly how much u need to play to get the rake free offer on the live events.Think the £1000 main event is still rake free in the lobby, and the £200 6 handed which is Thurs. Shoot me a PM if there's any queries and I'll forward it to Blue Square peeps to sort out :) Title: Re: www.watches2u.com, sponsor of the GUKPT Luton Live Update Post by: ripple11 on August 16, 2011, 08:47:21 PM £250 sat to the main event on Blue sq tomorrow. 4 seats guaranteed, 3 runners at the mo.
