It is really tilting trying to watch a DVD on my laptop in bed with headphones when the missus is trying to sleep. Agree I will look fairly stupid but she ties her hair up so she can't complain. It will look like a black Nora Batty and the fella from the 118118 advert are having an affair!!! I use this kitchen device almost every day, it is great. Most people have used one already, if you haven't then give it a go. Don't miss out, lol

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_y2o3gd6J-g And the Death Star. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-BqSFFS54w&feature=fvst Having kids was an excuse to buy more lego frankly :) Title: Re: Random stuff to buy Post by: TheChipPrince on November 25, 2011, 04:55:56 PM Too right. Death Star probably the best Lego model ever created, IMHO. You can recreate virtually any Death Star scene from SW or ROTJ in it. Incredible design and attention to detail. Wish I'd bought the Millenium Falcon Collectors Edition when I saw one about 6 years ago. £400 quite a lot of money. 5000 pieces though - biggest set ever sold. They go for about £1k on ebay these days! Title: Re: Random stuff to buy Post by: millidonk on December 09, 2011, 12:19:10 PM The missus is getting proper annoyed at me as I can't think of anything I want for Xmas this year.. What is on the top of other people's lists this year?
I would love something which would make me be able to use my laptop in the bath, but apparently such a thing doesn't exist. sigh. Title: Re: Random stuff to buy Post by: Laxie on December 09, 2011, 12:20:51 PM Why don't ye work together and just get something you'd both like for the house?
Title: Re: Random stuff to buy Post by: millidonk on December 09, 2011, 12:23:20 PM Why don't ye work together and just get something you'd both like for the house? tbh, we have pretty much everything we need/want and we would struggle to think of something we could both agree on. i.e She wants a new cooker and i want a 3d TV. Plus I have bought her loads for Crimbo. The wife thinks i am a nightmare to buy for but i am genuinely happy with anything. Where did you get your runlikegod button from? Title: Re: Random stuff to buy Post by: outragous76 on December 09, 2011, 12:55:50 PM Lol!
There were some special moments last night! Everyone keep rejamming on me, and given I had locked up a 14th on Monday my fold button was broke! 88>QQ was special on the final table, as was the last hand of J9>AJ I used code "AmatayisbetterthanGreekstein" when I signed up. Apparently a load of people have been duped to using code "Greekstein" which I understand activates the Doom switch Title: Re: Random stuff to buy Post by: gatso on December 09, 2011, 02:59:28 PM The missus is getting proper annoyed at me as I can't think of anything I want for Xmas this year.. Title: Re: Random stuff to buy Post by: millidonk on December 09, 2011, 03:12:13 PM Just ask her to deposit x amount into your bf account. She wants to get me something that will last me more than a day. So money and a puppy is out. |
