I think you've missed the rest of the riddle off - the way I heard it was that the guy would take the lift to back to the top if it was a rainy day but would walk the last X floors if it was a dry day. (since he had an umbrella to hit the buttons on wet days)

but yeah - what everyone else said - he's a dwarf... er... midget... er.... little person.

Thanks for cheering me up. I thought you had got your Grimsby bet loss (£500 to win before you deleted your post) by backing Wigan. Now you tell us you layed it off. Always best to stick with one story otherwise things unravel. :D

Title: Re: anyone know the answer?

377 tourneys? you must be on the leaderboard!

Again, just messing.....! (please , no abuse back, I'm a sensitive soul!)

Title: Re: anyone know the answer?
Post by: mystery721 on January 26, 2006, 03:55:53 PM
377 is how many ive played since i started playing 18 months ago, 11 of them have been this year (06) i played 298 last year (05) (which got me  on ladbrokes leaderboard) and i played 68 the year b4 (04) and b4 someone posts that this is 3 years, coz someone is bound too.   if u count back 18 months from now it will put u in 2004, just clearing that up coz someone woulda wrote "is it 3 years or 18 months u been playing"? (just to make out im talking shit again)

Hey Mystery :)

You need to chill again mate, the flagstones are warm enough to fry an egg on, my friend.

I am rather upset you haven't taken the time to answer my post to you on the Betfair laying/backing thread.

So I will reiterate.

You need to deflate your ego, take deep breaths when you post. Attempt to use full sentences, and generally just chill a bit.

As much as you may love yourself, frankly your attitude and demeanour are proving difficult for us all to share in the love and admiration that you so obviously hold yourself in.

As I suggested yesterday (and presume you read, but were speechless at the sheer power and verbosity of my posting), turn it down a few notches, don't be such an arrogant little fellow, and we may well turn out to like you en masse.

If you carry on, I will get most annoyed, and will out verbalise you in every manner in which you have ever imagined, and you will WANT to surrender.

Play nicely, calmly, without so much of an ego, and you will find this place the happy fun place it actually is.

THE REST OF YOU:

If he winds you up that much, ignore him. If you can't ignore him and wind him up, you are just as bad as he is.

Remember: We don't bait here - it's not nice.

Love you all :)

Heid
xx

I've folded pocket pairs a lot more often than that.

Sometimes after a raise and a re-raise that  3c 3h just ain't going to cut it. :D

In all seriousness though, I think I've pm-ed you this already but I'll also say it publicly. Some of your posts have good content and are constructive, it would be a shame if you were to leave the forum.

MikkyT wouldn't like it either, we'd all have to start bashing him again instead.

Thank you for replying though :)

Now if I can just get you to use caps in the right places, that would be great :)

See.. that last post you did to me was fine, apart from the caps etc..

Just take a few minutes to calmly put your thoughts down, and everything will be easier for you :)

PM me, and we will talk, my friend.

go to betfairpokertournaments.com and search all articles. Find my peice for that event and I explain my thought process. If you ever get to play with the likes of Bengt on a regular basis you may understand the maths and the methodology. I overplayed the hand but it is all explained better in the article and there was some "history" there.
