Title: Micro Million. 3.30 rebuy Post by: verndog158 on March 15, 2014, 06:58:52 PM Hand is after the end of re buys and addon break in the MM last night. Down to attempting to download a HUD last weekend and the laptop literally blowing up, we have no reads.
Have been fairly active, but not done anything crazy. PokerStars Hand #113286339234: Tournament #872136619, $3.00+$0.30 USD Hold'em No Limit - Level X (150/300) - 2014/03/15 1:31:04 WET [2014/03/14 21:31:04 ET] Table '872136619 777' 9-max Seat #2 is the button Seat 1: Techan82 (4961 in chips) Seat 2: DocÓDaimhín (1280 in chips) is sitting out Seat 3: l_GREECE_l (30714 in chips) Seat 4: lmlove (72853 in chips) Seat 5: fredvelt (1470 in chips) is sitting out Seat 6: iamVerndog (16378 in chips) Seat 7: DanK1977 (44015 in chips) Seat 8: -JMC-53 (69798 in chips) Seat 9: glAAva (13025 in chips) Techan82: posts the ante 40 DocÓDaimhín: posts the ante 40 l_GREECE_l: posts the ante 40 lmlove: posts the ante 40 fredvelt: posts the ante 40 iamVerndog: posts the ante 40 DanK1977: posts the ante 40 -JMC-53: posts the ante 40 glAAva: posts the ante 40 l_GREECE_l: posts small blind 150 lmlove: posts big blind 300 *** HOLE CARDS *** Dealt to iamVerndog Kh Jh fredvelt: folds iamVerndog: raises 300 to 600 DanK1977: folds -JMC-53: folds glAAva: folds Techan82: folds DocÓDaimhín: folds l_GREECE_l: calls 450 lmlove: calls 300 *** FLOP *** Tc 8h 5h l_GREECE_l: checks lmlove: checks iamVerndog: bets 820 l_GREECE_l: raises 980 to 1800 lmlove: folds iamVerndog: calls 980 *** TURN *** Tc 8h 5h 9s l_GREECE_l: bets 5700 What do we do? Have ran the numbers with Dimsum, and it seems its profitable to call here, leaving ourselves with 30bbs if we miss. Assigned a fairly probable range including, Tx hands, pair combos, Ahxh as well as top 2, sets etc. Thoughts greatly appreciated!! Title: Re: Micro Million. 3.30 rebuy Post by: lucky_scrote on March 15, 2014, 11:50:14 PM When someone pots it on the turn and you have a straight and flush draw (clean outs, 15 in total) then it is exactly a break even call with the pot odds.
45 unknown cards, 15 of them are winners = will make hand 33% of time. Someone bet's pot, you are getting 2/1 = need to win 33% of time to break even. Variables are obviously his range, how many of your outs he can have plus the rare time he has a better flush draw. All in all you will need to win very little money on the river when you make your hand to make this a profitable call.
