Just realised who Seb86 is, Sebatien Sabic, remember seeing the youtube film where him and Alex Luneau are the guys who took Gus Hansen for 20m, he has got Gus as his avatar - what a rub. Apparently one of the best 8 game players in the world. Bet his licking his lips watching Daniel on stream.

He has got Trueteller on his right and he has no idea who he is or how much he has won and he really doesnt care either. He has asked a few times who he is so im assuming he is gonna find out, however here's my question, in the long term it must be better for him to know who he is playing or is he right to have so much confidence it doesn't matter?

Dnegs stream has been interesting not sure about taking a leak whilst doing so though. I can't believe he's anything but a decent mark in these games. I'm also pretty sure he can afford to dump a few buying.

It would be better for him to know so he can avoid the very premier regs and not sit on their left but it's no biggie.

There is currently a battle going on between Claudico (artificial intelligence) v 4 of the best hu pro players, which is being streamed. Not on right now but if you follow claudico_extra on twitch u will get a notification when it is on. The Brains (as the pros are called) are currently $650k up cumulative.

Poker Night TV are streaming a cash game from Vegas with mainly guys who twitch, lineup right now is DNegs, PHellmuth, PLaak, Nanoko, Elky, Jason Sommerville and couple of others.

Phil Hellmuth just lost a 10k pot AA vs 88 as Scott Ball flops a set and they are all in by turn, commentator was waiting to see if Phil explodes and there was nothing from him, took his glasses off and just sat there, not enough cameras around or a changed man?

Stream is not that great to be honest.

It is very dull without the table audio.

Phil Hellmuth has been streaming OFC Pinapple for a few days, he is on now.

RIO coach JNandez has started a daily stream for high stakes plo, but including a lot of other variants of poker. He complements it with a pretty good variety of music in between. Pretty good stream and a great coach/guy.

Unfortunately PH gave out Liv Boree's phone number live on Twitch last night, as he tried dialling her it popped up on screen. I only know this as I was watching Liv's stream at the time when they told her in chat, think she was abit peeved as she had the number since she was 18, she called Phil to needle him (who was on the phone to Dnegs, crazy 3 way chat). She ended up pleaded to the viewers to put themselves in her shoes, she would never respond to a text or call and has asked that if anyone has her number to never use it as she doesn't want to change it, even said keep it by all means but never use it. You couldn't make this up.

A guy called JNANDEZPOKER is steaming, doing a challenge 100 000 in 100 days staring bank 20k, think he is doing it on PLO zoom, seems a pretty decent stream. Any PLO players know him?

Any doubts I had about the validity of Twitch as a tool for growing poker have just been blown out of the water.  38k viewers at peak. Wow.


I got to know Jason this year, & I doubt any poker pro, anywhere, any time, has impressed me as much as he has. He's a one man acquisition tool. He can actually measure his sign-ups, too. Can't think of many pros who can do that. He has, single handedly, encouraged thousands of players to take up the game. To my mind, THAT is what Poker Pros should be doing - nurturing our game, looking after their customers & bringing in new ones.

Well done Jason. No idea how he ended up in that WCOOP thing, & don't really care. For me, he's a winner.   

You should tune in sometime Tikay, you do not need an account to watch. He only one tables so that he can talk about all his decisions without people not being able to follow the action. For someone just getting into poker or even an low level player like my self he really is quite entertaining to watch, I have certainly learnt quite a bit personally and it's worked wonders.

It's not really my thing, watching poker on a live stream, but that's not to say I don't admire him, because I do, & very much. He's a really likeable, hard working kid, he smiles easily & gushes enthusiasm. I met, played with, or interviewed, hundreds of people in Vegas this year who I never knew previously. None impressed me more than Jason.  Sure, there's a degree of self-serving there, but he is good for poker, and doing exactly what pros should be doing, interacting positively with his customers.

Can totally understand that it's not your thing, that being said I would have thought as your in that line of work (poker media etc etc) that you may to do a bit of research to keep Upto date with current trends and such. I'm sure you could get him talking about trains and concrete in the chat box.

As a PS, & just so some can have a laugh at my expense, I was asked to do a Twitch Stream for Next Door. That'd generate an audience just shy of double figures, watching me mash that fold button in a fiver SNG.

I'm a huge fan he's very impressive. Streaming 7 days and 11hrs in, with chip lead at final table, he still makes a point to thank each and every subscriber to his stream.

Did he use a HUD or any software other than the pokerstars client?

If he did then he is ruining the game and you shouldn't watch.

If he didnt then how did this rec final table a WCOOP event?

haha no HUD, just plain old following the game and making mental notes on the players, every hand with him is about whether he has the odds to call so he is forever saying 2:1 etc, always talking about what range his opponent could have and if the Q hits him better than it does the villian. Some really good OLD fashion poker playing skills.

I have watched some crownupguy and Jnandez. Which are both pretty good.

Jason Somerville frequently plays the o8 hyper MTTs.  There is a bit of a lag, but you can see how he views you and your opponents. It is a bit disconcerting, but last time I saw me he had no notes on me as yet.  He is by no means an o8 expert, but I find it interesting none the less.

As others have said, he is very good at talking to his audience.

yes he goes into this alot. he was very ill and it's the only thing that has helped him.

Fair play to him, I only tried it a couple times when I was at school, and I just wanted to sleep.

he had ulcerative colitis. he talked about it alot when he first started twitching, it was very interesting to hear everything they went through trying different things and the differing results.

Fair play to him for finding something to help his illness, being in constant pain is no joy at all. I presume that it is legal because it's medical?

A friend of mine had that, and he was only in his early 20s as well.

He had to have part of his intestine removed, had a bag for a while, but has recovered really well, and is pretty much back to normal now.

Unless I'm getting it mixed up with something else.




They're a bit more advanced than us in that department, and MMJ is available in several states.

Finding myself quite entertained by RupertE's stream recently.

Doesn't get a whole bunch of viewers compared to the big dogs of Twitch, but he's pretty consistent in stringing together runs and plays about $4000 worth of buyins a day on average across Stars, FullTilt, Party, 888 and Betfair.

Agreed. Problem for me with most of the streams that I click on is that they have music playing in the background and its that bad I cant stand it, which makes me want to turn off or mute...and theres no bloody point watching it if its muted!

this is a problem which surely doesn't only affect poker streaming, so I would imagine twitch are looking quite hard at fixing it...

There are a fair few people I chat with in some of the MS groups on Facebook, and they swear by it for various symptoms.

Although I haven't done a lot of research into it myself, a friend added me to one of the 'Oil Chat' groups there, too. A lot of people seem to be having some success with the CBD oils when suffering from various conditions/illnesses.

Watched this since the start yesterday. Goes from reading DNeg's Guide to Stud/8 during the first two levels to the final table.

This must be the most viewers Stud/8 has ever had.

It's been a great watch.  How he's still in remains a mystery but it's entertaining stuff
