Motörhead on BBC Four now but it seems the sound is all screwed up - there's no bass at all and it's tinny as fk.

For Motörhead of all people!

Also pretty cool how my iPad autocorrects Motörhead to put the umlaut in.

Burt Bacharach deserved better support.

Those singers should be so embarassed at their performances.

Best find for me was Young Fathers - incred live performance

You don't need to be 25 again. I was 53 for my first Glasto, and although I've missed last year and this I plan on doing it again.

After a week of sleeping in a tent, hiking large distances across the site and three eight hour shifts on my feet checking entry and reentry entitlement EVERYTHING hurts. But it's worth it.

Last few times we went to Download, I took my caravan.  She was bought specifically to go to to Download in after camping a previous year.  Park right next to the van, comfy sleep, fridge, cooked food, bit of space outside to sit and chill, put the heating on if it gets cold :D Proper way to do a festival!

I wonder if John McEnroe will be there too as Wimbledon starts tomorrow.

I saw Patti Smith play at a really small venue in Toronto during the 1970's and I thought she was decent but not mind-blowing. Mind you there was some pretty stiff competition on the downtown bar-band circuit in that era from Paul Weller and The Jam to Muddy Waters.

Watching bits of the who made me realise I can't separate the performance from the songs. If I heard that at the back of a small pub I'd have to go out in the garden. Same as Paul wellers pish. All i could imagine all the way through was some old dude croaking 'im 70 you know'. Fair enuff, put yr slippers on and have a nap love. Chemical Brothers was just brill though but I guess we don't have to look at them or hear them sing

Did anyone else see that bloke wearing a pirate's hat and waving a sword crowd-surfing in a little rubber dingy during Lionel's set or did I imagine it?

Surely those purple Owsleys don't have flash-backs after this long.

I take my hat off to him hallucination or not.

Whoever did Kanye's set design was inspired, his performance has had mixed reviews to say the least but Kanye fans seems to like it (I saw the first 15 minutes) and I have listened to FFS which was brilliant in my opinion and I am not a fan of either band particularly.

I think my avoidance techniques worked quite well all told, so what else should I seek out on Iplayer? Did TV or radio broadcast any of Leftfields set?

Yes I saw him too, and thought what the hell! Also saw a naked Lionel blow up doll standing to erm attention. Both made me chuckle alot.

My vote for the t-shirt of the festival goes to the Lionel one with Hello, is it mud you are looking for on the front.

I accidently found this last night on youtube.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=asCrHkEHfWI   (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=asCrHkEHfWI)

I found it after putting on voodoo ray after listening to Noel Gallacher's desert island discs and leaving youtube running.  http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b062hplj (http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b062hplj)

I'd recommend that desert island discs too, as it is quite interesting to hear about his childhood, his choices and see how he has mellowed.

Anyway as Noel said in the clip, people of a certain age will not get voodoo ray and should just make a cup of tea, but the first set on youtube was one of my favourite glastonbury memories.  It was entirely unexpected and I wanted to be elsewhere and was outvoted.

Well that's my afternoon sorted - thanks for posting link.

Doctor Who theme into Chime from 95(First time?) is one of my favourite Glastonbury moments.
Probably says a lot that I cannot be certain what year it actually was.

Trying to move through the crowd on the Other Stage in 02 when they were on, possibly one of my worst.
