Title: Go gone? Post by: tikay on December 08, 2015, 12:36:24 PM I use "Sky Go" quite a lot on my IPad. I wanted to watch something last night, & a message came up, something like this.... Sky Go no longer supports devices on IO6, you must upgrade to (?) to continue watching. It worked fine - beautifully, as always. How do I know if I have IOS 7 or 8 or whatever? My IPad is relatively old, about 5 years I think, but I do those Upgrade things every time I'm prompted so to do. TIA Title: Re: Go gone? Somewhere in settings there is a Software Update option, if your iPad is that old it probably can't be upgraded past iOS 6. My original iPad is stuck on 5.1, there isn't a single app I use that works on it now. It sits on the sofa for occasional surfing use but even then it will crash on quite a few websites that are just too complex for it to handle. Title: Re: Go gone? Try uninstalling Sky Go (press and hold the icon until everything goes squiggly (technical term that :-)) then press the X) and then reinstalling it from the App Store. Title: Re: Go gone?
