In terms of points record at this stage of the season there is very little difference between City 17/18 and Liverpool 19/20 so agreed broadly a coin flip. City have lost what, eight games? It’s been a procession since game week 10 or 11 But it’s only been a procession because of Liverpool’s ridic record this season. Look at how many games they won by 1 goal. Change 4 wins into 4 draws and add a couple of defeats instead of wins that they would normally have in a normal season and man city could still lose 8 games and the league would still be well up for grabs. They deserve massive credit, especially after last season. To play it down as they weren’t challenged is petty. |
