United 98/99 (Treble)
Chelsea 04/05 - (Mourinho)
City 17/18 - (100 Points)
United 07/08 - (Rooney/Ronaldo)
Arsenal 03/04 - (Invincibles)

Rank the above.

Where would Liverpool 19/20 come in the rankings?

Just below the treble team I think. Coin flip with the City 17/18 team for 2nd/3rd.

Fabulous achievement for LFC but they haven’t really been challenged in the league this year.

Depends what we are ranking..

One single PL season in isolation?
One single PL season with doubles/trebles?
Best team over, say, 3 years including doubles/trebles?

United 2007-2009 the best United team for me.

In terms of points record at this stage of the season there is very little difference between City 17/18 and Liverpool 19/20 so agreed broadly a coin flip.

Liverpool  P31 W28 L1    Goal difference 49
City          P31 W27 L1    Goal difference 67

However, City 18/19 > City 19/20.....  first  domestic treble and the ultimate challenge in the league

We agree about something! Happy with that.

I'd say they have been challenged, but have just been too good and too consistent.

City have lost what, eight games?
It’s been a procession since game week 10 or 11

But it’s only been a procession because of Liverpool’s ridic record this season. Look at how many games they won by 1 goal. Change 4 wins into 4 draws and add a couple of defeats instead of wins that they would normally have in a normal season and man city could still lose 8 games and the league would still be well up for grabs. They deserve massive credit, especially after last season. To play it down as they weren’t challenged is petty.
