Title: Post deleted

I made a post on the internet forum about the apparent collapse of higher limit cash games on Ladbrokes.  Someone responded making general allegations of cheating, but not mentioning names.

The thread appears to have been deleted without any explanation.  I find this unacceptable.

I read that post earlier.  I played at Ladbrokes twice in low limts. So I didn't really have a place to make comment.

Yeah, I think that sort of info should be out in the open. I don't play there much, the first I heard about it was in the massive ZJ thread on 2+2 where someone was saying about how teams play there.

I've PM Snoopy and Kev asking who deleted the thread.

I posted factually that there were only 2 games at higher limits running on a Friday evening and I thought this was surprising in comparison to the past activity at that level.

I don't think that because Ladbrokes don't like a post and apparently didn't want to respond is sufficient reason to delete.  I suppose if Grovsenor complain about the Walsall collusion post, that will be deleted.

I also feel that I should have received a PM outlining the reason for deletion.

I only skim-read it but wasnt it directly attributed to collusion or cheatng? you can't make unsubstantiated claims like that without providing the evidence in the same breath. Blonde surely have to remove it for legal reasons.

Blonde have the right to remove anything for any reason, but how it is done and whether it is reasonable is my issue.  I didn't post anything other than fact.  The other poster responded with reasonable speculation, I would be very surprised if anything he posted was actionable.

Ladbrokes complained and the post was deleted for legal reasons.

Double up, it was deleted by a moderator, I am not sure why the whole thread was removed, but the initial reply was deleted and the poster was pm'd by the moderator that deleted.  I apologise for your post being deleted and I will try and find out the reasoning for you.

I can understand the policies Blone Poker have in place - prior to my true comments I wasn;t aware that such a posting would be deemed unsuitable. For those who managed to read it - great, hopefully you won't get caught up amongst the nonsense that goes on there. Marty.

I moved the thread, so its down to me

I thought that The Patriot's post about practices at Ladbrokes was unacceptable, ran it past a couple of colleagues for a second opinion and Pmed him to let him know. Whether the general comments he made were actionable or not, I was the moderator at the bridge, and I'm going to play safe.....

I then ran off to see my son play football for his representative team and plain forgot to put doubleup's initial post back up in my rush...which I will do now

Apologies to him for the confusion

and, for the record, no one from Ladbrokes was involved in my decision. Its down to me...
