Now, bear with me, while I try & Post a few things you need to know.

The address of the cardroom - at present - is "www.blondepokerleague.com".

Why "...league"? Don't ask, & don't worry. That's a temporary name & address, & we are somewhere between beta & alpha versions, & the "league" suffix will disappear after ther first upgrade.

And there are one or two little fixes we still need to make, which will also be attended to during the next Upgrade.

blondepoker tourneys. We cannot limit these to blonde Forum Members ONLY, but we CAN limit them to Members of the blondepoker cardroom.

So we can have blonde tourneys whenever we want.

We are still to decide how often, & what reg fee, regular blonde comps will be. We will, obviously, take feedback from the Forum in this respect. We could, for example, have blonde Tourneys daily, twice daily, every other day, mid-afternoon, mid-evening, "graveyard specials" in the middle of the night, whatever.

And we intend to have "Play Dave" events, where Dave will take ANYONE on for ANY amount, no matter how small, ditto "Play The Rookie" events, where you can relieve Brian Wilson of his money, "Play Jen" (I would not advise it), play snoopy (easy money), & Dave even suggested "Play tikay Heads-Up" which, given my Heads-Up ability, is a bit unfair, but if you are cruel enough, I'll donate.

All this is still being discussed, though we could set ANY of these up right now.

We want to cater for all pockets, & will put on ANY size buy-in Tourney, but it's likely that we will favour the lower buy-in affairs, as that's where the majority of blondes will wanna play - we think!

But to set the ball rolling, our first blonde Tourney will be THIS MONDAY, 7pm. $5 entry + $0.50 reg fee. You can enter NOW, it's in the Lobby, & we only have one entry so far - me!

Good news! I can't make Monday as I'll no doubt be stuck in a jam somewhere on the M25, but I'll deffo take part in future ones.

Incidentally Tikay, old chap, I went on to win that sit and go we sat down on in Monte Carlo - with 7-4!!!!

I am registered and downloaded but it wont let me have 'Junior' - bloody imposters already have it.

Won't let me use my chosen one either, i suppose it has to be affected by the other tribecca skins.

Names on the site. I could not get "tikay" so I opted for "tikay1". I assume that is because I am "tikay" on Blue Square which appears to be part of the same thingy.

But I'm still the only entry for Monday's Tourney - the bit at the top of the Lobby says "your current position 1/1". Gotta love that.

I had some difficulty initially Nakor, but Customer Services were surprisingly helpful - I got a guy called Kevin & he messed about under the bonnet & soon got me up & running.

On the site (i assume this will be the new main site?) it shows piccy's at the top and captions:-

The good - Tikay
The bad   - Mrs C
The blonde - El blondie (shouldn't it be the blondie?)

All looks good, i have never liked tribecca (mainly cuz i dislike the tourny's) but i shall make an effort....

I've downloaded! like the look of the lobby and the download website!

The table may take a bit of getting used to, did you buy those chairs for around the table from ikea...

Challenge the rookie and tikay to what ever you want!!! Ahhhh i know who is paying for my trip to vegas this year lol!

If it is easy for me to get the money on quick i'll give you a couple of games... won't be much practice for my heads up at the wpt tho! I think they play flops there, not just lump it in an d hope for the best like certain old men from derbyshire!

Going from what I was told at BlueSq you can have two accounts from the same IP logged in simultaneously but you aren't allowed to enter the same competition.

I guess this will cause a few issues unless it can be bypassed for BlondePoker skin-specific tournies.

Well finally we have something to show you. It isn't quite finished from a cosmetic perspective but all the nitty gritty is 100%.
Just to correct a few mis-leading comments (from me) and answer some question...
- There is only 1 tribeca network, so we are on the same network as bluesq.
- Our cage is handled by Bowmans International (a huge North American bookmaker)...if you are having trouble with deposits or withdrawals please PM me
- I dont think we can transfer funds from bluesq to blonde because they are different cages
- You can hold accounts at both blonde and other tribeca skins such as bluesq. Any problems just click on the manager support button and it is fixed in seconds.
- The whole of the blondepoker website is being upgraded for the new black shiney look. The ETA for this is March 27th. The temporary blondepokerleague download site will fit snuggly into the new site after this has been done
- At the moment we have no sign up bonus scheme. We prefer to go down the player loyalty route. At the moment there is a basic list of goodies available but we intend to expand that to incl. such delights as free enty into BB2 comps or the main event in Luton, depending on what you prefer. We are only just getting started
- the great advantage of the skin is that we can now run whatever competitions you want...we have a certain amount of control

I don't really know the answers to your questions, but I'd guess as follows.....

Whatever you can do on Blue Square you can do on blondepoker, EXCEPT "Blue Square ONLY" Tourneys.

I don't imagine it's possible to transfer funds from one to the other.

As an aside, there are many tourneys on Blue Square that I enjoy very much, but in particular their Grosvenor Fessie Satellites, usually every Friday night. (So get on Blue Square tonight!). I shall continue to support those Blue Square only tourneys, as I will Tourneys on other sites that I enjoy, such as William Hill, Sporting Odds, Ladbrokes. Just because we now have our own site does not mean we will become a one-horse Forum. Nothing has changed, there's just more choice.

We have had this debate before with myself and portfolio and Bullitpete ALWAYS used to be in the SAME position on the list for MTT's whatever time we joined it. 1 2 and 3

I can use my UPL username/password on the blonde league software, because its the same cashier.

Whoops, I am not sure that was the plan.

They have 7-stud and stud-8b cash games at the moment... no tournaments though. Yet.

Not that I'm aware of. I do now that SportingOdds.com (with whom I have a commercial relationship) spread both 5 card draw (whatever that is) & 7 card stud. Most of them seem to be "Limit" for some reason.

Well... it's part of the software... e.g. one can play on any 'skin' of VC using their VC name and password.

I signed up with UK-Poker.net when I joined the VC cage many moons ago - but had to play on the 'regular' VC skin for P4C's charity games... same name and password.

There's nothing dodgy about it, honest... ;)

No, I am sure there isn't, it is just that I think it was hoped that blonde comps were to be for those who registered through blonde. I used VC to play Sun Poker comps, but I had to go into Sun to register.

Surprisingly, no-one had claimed Fat Sheriff as a user ID!  Sadly Sheriff and TheSheriff were already gone, Sheriff Fatman and BlondeSheriff wouldn't fit so I'm now lumbered with this one for all eternity!

Also, the points scoring system is a little naff to say the least, and just how many of the top 20 have you seen win ANY decent MTT?!?!? - most of the names I have NEVER EVEN SEEN PLAY!!!

Anyone who downloads the software (via blonde) will be able to play...

..and unless I'm very much mistaken, any rake taken on the tournament will go to blonde, since I have to use the blondepoker software to play blonde events. (i.e. the blonde tournaments will not show up on the UPL skin).

In actual fact, this works out great - it means I can use the same bankroll for both UPL (which sponsors El B) and BlondePokerLeague!

Double the blondeage, double the fun!  :D

When I go to enter my card details, the VALID TO date only goes up to 1989

typical begrudging m3      as ever.

obviously there has always been a record of results,but only recently released it seems.

player    hog-man (arkansas)  was top dog   but
he a septic.

hence top ranked  EUROPEAN for moi.

as it had no benefits until released as an official comp in march 06       never paid much heed to it.

ps  rankinf pts scored from pos 10th up so if you play lots of mtts    thats reflected  not neccesarily the best/winning players.  eg   lixxan won the 100k for  29k  approx   yet isnt in the top 10 for week or month.crazy.

This is one of the factors of 'ladders' like this - you don't have to make money at all on MTTs, as long as you play the volume needed to get the points.

E.g If you play all of those speed rebuy MTTs that Trib has going (and they are legion), you have a shot at the top, even if you only break even on them... ?

Party give away leader board oints for their sit n go tournaments too.

I came 2nd one month last year without even entering a single regularly scheduled tournament.

My point was that the leaderboard was tagged as "lets see who the best MTT player is" - wot a load of Tosh.

It should read "lets see who cashes in the most  MTT's"

Myself, I only play the $15k (late one) and the $10k ($99 rebuy one) - oh and the sats of course and BS 20 min MTT's (not sure if these count) and I am in top 30. I didnt expect to be in the top 100 let alone top 30 because I play so few tourneys.

Don't worry M3boy. While I don't wish to belittle anyone who is on a leaderboard, everyone knows they mean hee-haw.

(If I were on one, I'd still be chuffed though.)

Used to be many a harsh word at my table. Someone would say, "wow are you the tigmong". I'd say "yip" and there would always be a few at the table who would be really offended. Piping up that leaderboard rank means nothing. Some getting personal, calling me pathetic, accusing me of having two people playing my account etc.
It always amused me that my mere presence at the table would sometimes start arguments. I didn't even need to say owt, tempers flare over this sort of thing.

Let the folk on the board have their fun is what I say.

Meanwhilst, keep destroying the $10k and the $15k for all they're worth.  :)up

What I meant was that those on the leaderboard are not necessarily the best, and those near the top are not necessarily to be feared.

Contact a manager; for those of us who already had accounts with other cages, there's something the hosts need to manually tweak to let you deposit.

It's very straightforward though, if you click on manager, a host will walk/talk you through it...  :)up

Reason being, I'm on every other Tribica site as something or other,I'm losing count.

As far as I can see from other sites, you can play in any cross site tribica network table or tournement, from any of the sites.
But any site can have their own tournements purely for its own members, which will not show up across the board! 8)

Just tried to deposit but says it was declined???  it gave no reason and said to contact support,

So i did and it says its a problem on my banks side as they are clamping down on deposits to "gambleing sites".

I have used this card to deposit on All my poker sites and sports betting sites, and they said there is nothing thet can do >:(

The blonde Tourneys will not necessarily be Mondays. They may be any night of the week, every night of the week, or every other night of the week, it's up to when you guys tell us we want them.

Once the site has bedded down for a few days we will put a Poll up (sigh....) asking for youro views on when, & how often, you like blonde comps, & what entry fee you most like.

Signed up as blonderedsi, my fourth Tribeca id (VC, BSq, Doyles room as well).

Not set up real money account yet. Are there any deposit bonuses going on with the launch?

Sark the skins are the sites VC , Blue Square and blondepoker they all use the same software which is tribeca, you cant open two of these sites at the same time

i registered, made a deposit, played a HU and get a message to ring them. i call them and they say that i tried to use somebody elses card. that someone is a member on this forum. they said i must have his card details with me or he has tried to play on my computer. it was 1130pm and im here on my own with MY debit card. they have now suspended my account and i cant use it. they say i have to send off 3 documents to prove who i am. had anybody else deposited by card and have they had to send off conformation  >:( >:( >:(

I was abit nervous about this.  I set up an account. But the cashier section looked exactly like another site, I was on.

I wanted to wait before I actually opened a real money account, to see how others got on.   


When I deposit, I am going to use Netteller.    I had a friend who had the exact same problem as you had with his VISA. It wasn't Blonde, but another pokersite.

Hope things get sorted out for you...

I registered & opened my account with my card today with no problems, I hope they can sort it out for you.

Surely this is a good thing right? ... lets imagine it was your card someone else was using, illegally, that would be the exact course of action that I would want...

yeah it would be a good thing but they said that i was using somebody elses card details. i was on the phone for over half hour trying to tell them that i havent and it must be a mistake at their end to which they said it wasnt and were quite adament about that.

i asked them if they were accusing me of fraud they said no i might just of used his card details by mistake or he used my computer. as i said im here on my own with my card. eventually they admitted that the mistake was at their end and the card transaction they thought i used was before i even opened an account.

i asked if now that the problem was sorted out at their end does that now mean i can use my account as normal but i cant it is still suspended. i have to scan in my details and send it to them in an email but i do not have a scanner or i have to fax them to them. i dont have a fax either.

i have 8 poker sites and accounts on my computer, one of those is a tribecca site and havent had any problems with any of them. i use the same card on all sites.

the reason they wanted my details are because they thought i was using somebody elses card

if you've got a camera phone you can email pictures from it or transfer them to your puter and send em.

I had a phone call today form support telling me that someoned had used my card to deposit in their account a mr black from Northampton, something funny going on here, my account is also on stop and I have to send copies of debit card, utility bill etc.- not sure if I want to tbh

After being unable to deposit via the cashier section again today i started the live chat and the friendly host asked me to phone her and she could try to deposit manually!

So i rang the deposit section and spoke to a lovely lady and gave her the card details and 15 mins later i now have funds in this wonderful new site and am registered in tomorrows tourney as -Jim-D- (if my account doesnt get suspended) :D

Is there any way myself and my flatmate can both enter the tournament tomorrow or will there be problems using the same IP address?

I had no problem depositing, and my vc account is still active.

After reading about some of the problems other people are having I'm glad to say I've managed to register and deposit successfully. Hurray!

Thankfully, I was able to register the name "ZenTaff", thus avoiding any confusion. I suppose that's the benefit of having an unusual 'handle'.

I've registered for the tournament at 7pm and I'll be there unless the traffic is particularly bad on the M4 tomorrow night.

I have phoned and emailed the problems to support and I am chasing the problems with money deposits now. (sorry I was a little busy over the weekend). I can only apologise for these issues. I have particularly asked for a full explanation on what has hapanned with Dewi/Dan ?

one other minor point. we dont intend (although I suppose I may live to regret this statement)...we dont intend to offer sign up bonuses. we would rather give money back on player reward schemes. we think these are more fitting for the blonde community.
