Please do not expect hand after hand in great detail when the blinds are small and even with my eyes, I can only watch one table at a time. At this stage of the comp, all you are going to get are photo's and a hand if i stumble across one worth reporting.... xxx raises pre and takes the blinds would be a bit boring no ? I've given this a go myself and with a room full of people and small blinds there simply isn't really anything to report on. You can walk down the entire middle tier for example and not see a single flop out. At this stage of the comp photos/list of people who are out is all you should be expecting. Any interesting hands that Kev happens to catch is a bonus.

Just looked outside and it's a wierd day - warmish but getting dusk like and inside it feels like a Sunday afternoon if you haven't been outside or opened the windows - all stuffy, murmers and chip riffles can be heard with the odd shout of 'seat open'. Half the field gone already - 155 left and it's not feeling frenetic - the room just feels like it had a grinding feeling at the moment - just going through the motions until the field pares down again. 1 application to the diplomatic corps refused as I upset a player after i laughed having heard she had been knocked out by Bookiebasher - not to her face but her bat hearing kicked in and I've had the first rant of the day with a pointy finger too....sigh ...... ::) Kev must be rubbing off on me - I've asked hm to stop but he can't help himself. Title: Re: DTD 20/Twenty SATURDAY Post by: Dingdell on October 24, 2009, 06:47:40 PM Table Bookie Basher/Rokash - Bookie looks like he has lost a few but happliy chatting to his neighbour. Lucy having a massage and sitting with a stack of over 50k if my eyes are accurate. She's looking very relaxed and has this air of quiet confidence.
Table Tony Phillips - just had an all in - Kc Kh vs Ad Ahrt no help on the flop and the Aces knock another player out - another lady to the rails - sigh. Karibiners tables - Ralph in the BB calles an all in from the button - Ralph Qs Ad (very brave call imo) against buttons 5d 8s. Flop Ac Qh 4s, the 4c and 9s making no difference and the man knocked out gets jeered by his railing mates as he gets up from the table. Ralph quietly stacks his chips (he won 1500 plus the antes) and gets on with his game. Some chip counts - Alan Geddes from Luton - now Walsall - 25k Barry Neville 60k Red 26k Evil Pie - 13k - he shrufs - I'm not worried he says Nick Hicks - 34k. Lots of blondes still in - atmo getting a little more charged now. Blinds just up to 600/1200 with an ante of 100 and the short stacks are having to shove - players starting to drop. Won't bore you with a full report, but pretty standard live nit fest on my table, ranging from good nits to bad nits. Highlights were the bb to my btn called every button raise (I opened every unopened pot on the button) and check folding every flop, vwp sir. "I put you on AK" was said at least 7 times, oh and i get nitrolled by two people in my exit hand. Shoved approx 10k utg+1 with Kh Jd @ 600/1200/100, button tanks for like 2 minutes and folds(obv had kj beat), then bb tanks for like another minute. Then calls saying "I hope you have ak", fun times. Title: Re: DTD 20/Twenty SATURDAY Post by: Dingdell on October 24, 2009, 07:43:34 PM Table Chinese Frankie and Alan Stern - Frankie has 30k and Alan approx 25k. All quiet - mostly average stacks. When I say all quiet I am also referring to Frankie - he is so quiet the earmuffs handed out to surrounding tables have been returned - hardly a peep from him.
In 2 rounds on the table a raise to 4000 is taking down most pots - blinds currently 800/1600 with antes of 200. Title: Re: DTD 20/Twenty SATURDAY Post by: Lamm on October 24, 2009, 07:43:49 PM Can i get a pic of Tom hall. table 12 seat 6. PLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

As the weather gets cooler and it's darker less people go outside for a break - only the smokers make an effort to go out so it's getting noisier.
The £50 f/o is a sell out and due to start - table draws are up - DTD is running like a well oiled clock - no surprise there. Bizarely I had a dream about DTD last night - there was a raid and I dived under a table and rang the police. Today i re-enacted that slightly as i had to get under the table to plug in the laptop. Fran is blooming - looking in the best of health but having trouble sitting at the table with the bump. Good news is she may stop playing soon so we can all come back and hopefully have a better chance of winning if she takes a break. Amazing how well DTD runs these comps - we've moved tables twice as they refill tables but we're back where we started now and will be here until the bitter end - or in my case for as long as I can keep going before falling asleep - again another saturday night flashback....Kev off working looking for hands - I'm about to follow him - normal service is now resumed. Any requests get them in and we'll get them done. Title: Re: DTD 20/Twenty SATURDAY Post by: Tractor on October 24, 2009, 09:55:48 PM Chip count for Rich Stevenson , plz.

Title: Re: DTD 20/Twenty SATURDAY Post by: Dingdell on October 24, 2009, 10:06:59 PM Table Frankie - Alan Armitage getting short - pushes all in in late position - all fold and he picks up blinds and antes of 13800 - very handy. Blinds 3000/6000 ante 600.
Action on Table Barry Neville First barry small blind - stares down the button who looked as if he was going to raise and then folds after barrys stare. Barry raises using his 25k pink chip and the BB folds - barry shows 7d 7h. Then next hand mid position raises all in for 18k and they all fold so he picks up the 13800 in the middle. The very next hand he pushes again with nearly 32k and they all fold to the button who is chipped up and announces All In. Rest of the table folds and it's the original raiser with 4h 4d and the button with 8h 8d. No help on a board of 2s 3h Kc 9c Qh and another one to the rail. Table Barry Neville is building some big stacks now - and Barry is licking his lips. Big argument developing as well !! Marl noble ships in for about 18k Frankie flats Then Alan Stearn shoves for 60k .... Frankie goes into the tank and tries to work out what the side pot will be ... he talks to Stearn and says I think you have 44 ... do you want a call ? Alan says nothing but after a couple of minutes dwell The clock is called on Frankie ... he goes bananas, and eventually passes 77 face up... Alan indeed flips 44 ... Mark Noble has AK Flop 7 4 5 Turn Q River 7 Alan scoops, Frankie would have got the lot and is not happy ... he is raging at the player not involved in the hand calling the clock... he is absolutely steaming. He gets a 1 round penalty for his explosion.... Mark the TD handled it superbly imo. Title: Re: DTD 20/Twenty SATURDAY Post by: Colchester Kev on October 24, 2009, 10:14:18 PM 34 Jon O'malley

Title: Re: DTD 20/Twenty SATURDAY Post by: Dingdell on October 24, 2009, 11:44:52 PM 2 tables left - play a bit cagey as we play hand for hand.
A couple of all is and folds as people look at the screen wanting to jump up another level. A mid position all in looks like it's going the same way until the BB goes into the tank, asks for a count - it's 86k. Blinds are 6k/12k with an ante of 1k. BB calls. BB has 7h 7d riser has Ahrt Jh Board comes 9c 8d Td 8h 3h and we loose another. Kev is getting excited that we may finish before 5am, I have news for him - I definitely will be! Kev has gone off on the pretence of reporting on a hand - 5 mins later he comes back when he remembers he has forgotten his pen.....sigh......I may have exaggerated about the time delay for comedic purposes.... Title: Re: DTD 20/Twenty SATURDAY Post by: Dingdell on October 25, 2009, 12:10:00 AM Just before the final table Bookie basher faced an all in. I love Jom when he starts thinking about whether to call - he gets a look of intense concentration on his face, counts his chips and just quietly thinks. I have to say I wasn't in the hand I and I was scared - he's like a damocles sword and you are just waiting for it to fall.
That call he made with 10's against Tony was a real breath holder. Both kev and I have said we would love to watch a tourney all the way through and see his hole cards. Title: Re: DTD 20/Twenty SATURDAY Post by: flushthemout on October 25, 2009, 12:11:32 AM but gl to warbwastard as he took my chips

Jim UTG raises to 39k, button calls. Flop comes 4c 8h Jd. Jim stares at the flop for some time and then bets 53k. Button dwells and dwells and flat calls. The entire table is holding their breath apart from seat 1 who's mate hands him some crisps and he munches loudly and shouts to his mate until Simon does the 'finger on lips' gesture and like a naughty schoolboy seat 1 shuts up. The turn is 2s. Jim quickly goes all in. Buttin dwells, we hold our breath and eventually the button folds. Table goes on a break and we breathe again.
