On the first hand David Maudlin shoves the cut off for 77,000

Simon Tomsett in the small blind intends to call all in but it turns out he has 82,000 so calls the 77 and has 5 behind

In the big blind John Kabbaj chuckles "How can I find a pocket pair here?"

Contemplates and folds

Maudlin A7dd

Tomsett A2o

Maudlin doubles on 7-4-K-10-J

I didn't recognise him for hours yesterday, as my only view was from afar as he was on a table in the middle of the bottom hair

Gary Banks from Milton Keynes always had a luxurious bouffant. Its now out of control!

Good player from when I played him a lot. Got the game for sure.

Martins Adeniya min raises

Kev Smith shoves 98,000 in position with 7-7

An identical stack next to him, Mark Lane, passes A-K

Martins calls with A-Q

9-5-8....Ace on the turn to knock Kev Smith out

Also on the same table are Chris Dowling and Peter Mok

Here Peter is stacking up after winning a pot against Dowling with A-10 on J-7-K-9-8

Mok bet 75,000 on the river

Dowling paid him off, actually throwing the chips towards Mok's stack as he did so!

Gary Banks opens to 18,000

Jamie Roberts all in 148,000 on the button

Banks asks for a count but before the dealer has completed the count, he calls with A-Q

Roberts has Ace-Ten of Spades

"Sweet, I am a 30% shot. Plenty" says Roberts

First card out is the 9 of spades

"Here we go"

5

10

a shy smile from one player, a frustrated look from the other

8

I don't see why there should be a redraw? Just because it's the standard? Can't think of a good reason why there should be. Btn stays where it was, everything is just a continuation of the tournament.

Gary Banks apparently sufferede another bad beat after the AQ<A10 reported earlier and then shoved AK into Steven Sargent's AA

The flop was desperate, the turn gave him slivers of hope and the river was gin to double him up

"I am pleased you won that, you deserved it" said a table mate as a relieved Banks sat back down

Pizza Ronaldo raised on the button and the estimable Kenny Prazer from Bedfordshire called

Ronaldo c-bet 19,000 on the flop, with the nuts AQ on KJ10

He was check raised to 64,000 by two pair K-10

Trappily, he called on the flushing board

Prazer then set him in on the turn

Margherita days for Ronaldo as he calls and holds off the two pair on the river to double up

Integrity of the game is the main reason for overnight redraws. It's much harder to plan any form of collusion if you don't find out who will be on your table until fairly close to the start of play and if they move you around fairly often.

Rick Trigg button raises to 25,000

Ian Gwynne all in 200,000 in the big blind

"I figured he could have anything and would fold a lot to the shove" said Gwynee, who had six-eight suited

Trigg called from a 500,000 stack with Ace-Jack and held to knock Gwynne out

Three more exits

54    Ian Gwynne
55    Clive Jones
56    Andrew Wilson

We are going to be really unlucky to get a dull final line up here. Great mix of names and characters left in.

Integrity of the game is the main reason for overnight redraws. It's much harder to plan any form of collusion if you don't find out who will be on your table until fairly close to the start of play and if they move you around fairly often.

Good point Mr C, hadn't thought of that.

Yeh no redraw seems kinda ridiculous

Why? Same tournament just continuing. Cant see the problem.
Totally agree its just the restart not a joining of days???

I don't see why there should be a redraw? Just because it's the standard? Can't think of a good reason why there should be. Btn stays where it was, everything is just a continuation of the tournament.

Think somebody else said this earlier itt :-)

Good luck all blondes today

Banks think think shove 278,000

Banks Q-Q

Leonard A-Q

6-5-J-6-5 to save Mr Banks

Tenuous IMO. we all know that if people want to collude then they will find a way regardless.

I guess the only argument for me would be the fact it gives you a better chance of playing against more of the players left, so effectively the luck of the draw becomes evened out. If you have had the benefit of a more easy table for a whole day you may then be moved to a more difficult one and someone else may get the benefit of said easier table.

When I asked Toby Stone (TD of EPT/UKIPT) about re-draws, this is one of the main reasons given for the re-draws that occur with 24 and 16 players left. The other one being that if they only broke one table the players from that table would be at a significant disadvantage with significant money on the line.

Alan Dawson the sole remaining Sky Qualifier, I think , opens and gets three callers including Carlo Citrone in the cut off

 Aspades 4c 5d

check to Dawson who leads for 75,000

Citrone calls

9d

Dawson 150,000 setting Citrone in who is left with 90,0-00 at 6-12k if he passes

He thinks and thinks. Thats a surprise

"How can I pass this hand?" he says to himself

A few minutes pass

"How can I pass this hand?" he says to himself

He lifts a hand to his mouth and the hand contains his cards. The bottom card is An Ace

"How can I pass this hand?" he says to himself

Copy and paste is a wonderful invention

He passes his Ace, and Dawson shows him  Ahrt 5h

Roberts calls

Andrei Dimidov in the small blind reshoved 99 and took him out

Kabbaj into the seat the other side of the dealer

Trigg has just raised UTG and everyone folds. Boatman in the big blind has folded  2c 3c

Barny Boatman raises and Alex Spencer 3 bets the button

Boatman calls

The board runs out Qs Js 4s 5d Td

Spencer triple barrels, called on flop and turn and there is a long dwell before Barny folds to a whopping 385,000 on the river

This is a big 900,000 pot for the chip lead

Four cameras watch the action. Some railbirds crane over the barrier as Barny thinks

Barny folds

Spencer shows 7h 6d

A rippling murmur passes through table 15 and surrounding environs

"Nice bet" says Barny "Well played"

Mr Spencer, it has to be said, maybe 21 years old give or take a year, looks some prospect....

Alex is only 19. Very good game theory and very good at putting it into practise. Also very very solid when playing live, not prone to spewwing in bad spots but has the bollocks to follow through when he seems opportunities, the above proves as much! (Much to my discomfort when playing vs him)!

First hand back after the break Liam Batey loses a 600,000 flip to double up Danny Blair with AK v JJ

Left with under 300,000 a couple of orbits later he jammed K-7hh into Chaz Chattha's big blind

Chattha called with A-10, held to double his short-stack up

Next hand, left with 80,000 Liam took A-4 against Chaz Chattha's 7-7, sevens hold

Liam Batey is out 27th.

We have a new chip leader

Matas Cimbolas raises to 40,000

Giovanni Brandi 3 bet the button to 120,000

Cimbolas 4 bet uber-shove for 750,000

CALL

Cimbolas 4-4

Brandi A-K

Fours hold to send the 1.6m pot Cimbolas' way

Brandi, on this occasion, doesn't shout at the ceiling and he is now short-stacked

Cimbolas now has over 2m

He is a direct buy in, originally from Lithuania now living in London

John Haigh, now with over 2m, 3 bets to 135,000

Graham 385,000

Haigh shoves, covering

2m pot

Graham QQ

Haigh AK

Queens hold to take Graham right back up there

As I write Graham has won another 500,000 pot against Steve Sargent, flopping a set of fours, rivering a house and his value bet was not called on the river having been paid off on flop and turn

Alan Graham now a 2.6m top 2 stack

"A hospital?! What is it?"

"It's a big building with patients, but that's not important right now."

Keep up the good work, Tighty. I won't pick a winner as I have the unfortunate habit of the instabok. Best of luck, one and all.

blinds go 20-40k

Average is 1.1m

Two levels to play today

Touch and go if we make the final today. We start at 2pm tomorrow and the feature table is rigged up surrounded by camera, lights etc. Will be interesting to see what sort of access I get to see. I had a practice today and on the Omaha final last night and its not easy to see community cards from behind where the barriers have been placed, so I might view down the camera lens from behind the camera men

There's no reason to become alarmed and we hope you enjoy the rest of your flight. By the way, is there anyone on board who knows how to fly a plane?

Barny's exit interview filmed near me.

"The blinds are very big now.

Chaz is a lovely guy and if I had to bust i was happy to see Chaz  do it.

I had Ace-King having lost a big pot a while previous and sooner or later in these big events you are going to have to win a coin flip or avoid a cooler.

Of course straight after the event you bemoan your luck but I think back to day one when I won with 3-4 of spades against a set of sixes on a two spade flop and if I had lost that I would have been home two days ago.

Of course I am desperately disappointed, I felt I was going to final, but my good run ended a bit sooner than I would have liked, and I couldn't avoid it with that hand with that stack."

Marcel Luske was interviewed near me on his exit

"I was below average all day and was on the same table as the young chip leader who was opening every hand. It is not easy to find spots to accumulate chips in these circumstances. At 650,000 I was down to 12 or big blinds and needed to double up to be in contention. In the end I am happy, I performed well, it was a very nice experience. The structure was very playable. If you are a better player, it really suits you. I have been here before in big events like the World Series and the EPT and this was definitely an excellent event. Alex Spencer from Doncaster is a 20 year old student. Previously primarily a cash game player, he won the Sheffield 25-25 series and  finalled the DTD Deepstack and went deep at GPS Star City in the past month

Danny Blair. Danny is from London and is primarily a cash player, £5-10 at the Victoria Casino is his regular game. He bought in direct

Paul Delaney. Paul is from Galway, with a background in Online Tournaments. He and his friends have branched out into Live events in the last year, playing major UK and Irish Tours for the first time and travelled across for this event. He bought in Direct

Deborah O'Connell, from Stoke. Qualified online through DTD for £1 through feeders and three levels of satellite is now guaranteed at least £10,000, her biggest ever cash.

Allan Graham from Leicester, a Sky Poker qualifier “Beefy777” for £2.80 in an Online “all-in” satellite

Chaz Chattha from London. He and his brother Sunny have been fixtures on the UK Circuit for nearly a decade, originally as part of the “Hit Squad” group of players. He has live winnings of nearly $1m including 2nd in WPT Dublin, a win at GUKPT Luton, 2nd in a GUKPT Grand Final and a Bellagio Cup win.

John Haigh from Liverpool. Qualified live via Genting but also won in via the High Roller satellite at DTD on Tuesday which he used for this buy in.

James Rimmer. Three of James' friends won seats online for the Main event and there was a spare seat in the car up from Bexhill on Sea on Tuesday. He came up, won a seat in the £50 satellite and entered the event. This is by far his biggest tournament ever. His biggest previous live buy in was £50 with 38 runners. He runs a local home game.

Steve Sargent is a Sky Poker Qualifier with two live cashes before, both at DTD for a total of £6,000 including winning an Incredible 100 last June
