It's much harder to plan any form of collusion if you don't find out who will be on your table until fairly close to the start of play and if they move you around fairly often. Good point Mr C, hadn't thought of that. Tenuous IMO. we all know that if people want to collude then they will find a way regardless. I guess the only argument for me would be the fact it gives you a better chance of playing against more of the players left, so effectively the luck of the draw becomes evened out. If you have had the benefit of a more easy table for a whole day you may then be moved to a more difficult one and someone else may get the benefit of said easier table. Title: Re: Sky Poker UKPC @DTD: Main Event Day 3 Post by: dino1980 on February 22, 2014, 03:34:48 PM Integrity of the game is the main reason for overnight redraws. When I asked Toby Stone (TD of EPT/UKIPT) about re-draws, this is one of the main reasons given for the re-draws that occur with 24 and 16 players left. The other one being that if they only broke one table the players from that table would be at a significant disadvantage with significant money on the line. "The blinds are very big now. Chaz is a lovely guy and if I had to bust i was happy to see Chaz do it. I had Ace-King having lost a big pot a while previous and sooner or later in these big events you are going to have to win a coin flip or avoid a cooler. Of course straight after the event you bemoan your luck but I think back to day one when I won with 3-4 of spades against a set of sixes on a two spade flop and if I had lost that I would have been home two days ago. Of course I am desperately disappointed, I felt I was going to final, but my good run ended a bit sooner than I would have liked, and I couldn't avoid it with that hand with that stack." "I was below average all day and was on the same table as the young chip leader who was opening every hand. It is not easy to find spots to accumulate chips in these circumstances. At 650,000 I was down to 12 or big blinds and needed to double up to be in contention. In the end I am happy, I performed well, it was a very nice experience. The structure was very playable. If you are a better player, it really suits you. I have been here before in big events like the World Series and the EPT and this was definitely an excellent event. Apart from the fact I lost mylast hand, it is all good" Title: Re: Sky Poker UKPC @DTD: Main Event Day 3 Post by: TightEnd on February 23, 2014, 12:16:41 AM Cimbolas UTG min raises to 100,000
