Easy game imo... (That's Nik Persaud, James Akenhead, Stu Rutter, John Eames and Chris Moorman all waiting to play - Note Nik Persaud is quick, but not quick enough to show off his badge for a certain site that is a dark colour and may or may not contain belts)

Has Eames been overheard telling anyone that it's Bicycle time yet? Noticed in Dublin when i was pissed a striking similarity to a young Tony G.

Got a fairly small interest in Murphy at 2.08 not at all wishing i'd got out of Hendry at 8-6 and lumped on here.

I really cant decide whether to have some kind of saver on Ding, Hendry really looking hungry and different class now back to something like his predator days which is tempting me to let it ride.

As good an example of self bokking as you are likely to find.

Urgh that was a little schoolboy.

Hendry just nicked crucial 12th frame to make it 6-6 against Ding - looking like this one could go all the way.

Day started well against Bond, wouldnt be too surprised if it was 7-1 at the interval.

Did you see the end of the 13th? What a battle on the black, piss poor snooker but pretty exciting to watch.

Gogogogo Hendry

that was proper old school snooker. loved it

Reminded me of Taylor and Davis but it was me pumping an imaginary cue over my head.

Ronnie not looking great in play but if he goes better than 1/2 this is surely a must bet.

Have gone with Hendry at 8/5, Ding has only ever won 2 matches at the Crucible and Hendry despatched him at the same stage last year 13-7. May look to lay it back in running if he gets a couple ahead but doesn't look to be playing any better than 1st round.

How's the Missus?

Out of hospital now but it's a long term illness with lots of outpatient treatment required, the collapse was just a symptom of the real problem.

Anyone got any clues for value in the 2nd round matches? I used to be a bit shrewd on the snooker and just useless at everything else but i've not been able to follow it since Sunday so not sure how many of them are playing.
I think Murphy could be a good price against Fu at 10/11 on betfair if he can get over the health issues before the match. Ding v Hendry is interesting both played poorly in first round but scrapped through, Hendry came steaming out of the blocks but Ding at his best can steamroller opponents if he gets well in front. I may have a gamble Hendry flys out of the blocks again at 6/4 and lay it back in running if it happens. Ding doesn't really appeal as an all the way bet at 8/13. Maguire looking pretty awesome tonight.
