Think the main thing after reading through the entire thread is the naivety some people have shown throughout this. Yes, I see he was trusted and respected within the community, but obviously afterwards you can pick up flaws with his "balla" lifestyle. I don't know anyone or of anyone who is really minted who drives around in a Fiesta (unless they might be international money launderers/drug barons) keeping a watchful police eye off them. End of the day if I was a successful trader online making thousands of pounds, I for one would not waste my time taking £500 off "friends" to effectively gamble with. If i'm making a mint, it's not worth my time and if i'm losing a mint why on earth would anyone want to be involved. If I wanted to do something "for the community" or "out of the goodness of my heart", I would give tips, or tell the previously uninformed public who or what I would be betting/trading on. All in all I feel sorry for people who have had their "vegas dreams" broken but all said and done you've given away your holiday money to someone who was quite obviously going to GAMBLE it away. Quite ironic for "poker players" to be openly attaching themselves to a "get rich quick" scheme. Someone made a brilliant post (lost the page number) but it was something to do with cliqués and community silencing. I know this may further enrage some haters, but kudos to Arbboy for shouting the loudest, even when people were not listening. I know you "went about this the wrong way", but it was the only way due to the naivety of investors.
The quicker the police get through with it the better. Worse case scenario, they find no money but he will be declared bankrupt and you won't have to see his sorry mug again. Bye bye Casino entering privileges which will include DTD too.

If you miss your draw, you miss your draw. If the guy has gone all in, he quite blatantly has a better hand than you, and if he's made a play then fair enough, he has made a good one because you can't call his all-in bet with king high. It is all dependent on how you view etiquette, and to me that would be bad etiquette trying to steal, and i'll use the word steal a pot from someone with a more superior holding because you knew you couldn't win, but at the end of the day he's gone all in before you so you can't win it anyway.. which can be annoying. I know that your opponents hand could be classified as dead but in fairness of play, with his two cards easily identified, you had the choice to call or fold which is the same choice you had before. It's the same in any game you play, pool being the easy one to scenario up. Also the flipside of the coin, if you have the nuts on that board etc, go all in you think he's folded and throw your cards towards the muck, and he's sat there with a busted king high flush draw or the likes, how would you feel if the pot got moved to the other side of the table? (Not saying that you wouldn't not pay attention like that, but it could happen).

5/5 cash was mental. For anyone playing it, what was the name of the guy in seat 1 with the beard and the constant supply of e500 notes? Paid off a young Kid on flop of 45JJ8, all the dough in on turn, Kid declares Ace high - yup, it's good. (think Kid possibly well known on here but believe that is a different thread).. Seat 10 reraises pre, seat 1 mentallist calls, ends up with £1300 each in on a q high flop, seat 10 takes pot with 99. (apparently seat 1 had a2).
Been browsing the forums for quite some time but thought i'd finally create an account and post. Shocking player, no respect for money, hoping to see him again tomorrow !
