Hate to see Spain win, sure they are good at football, but they are just the epitome of the cheating twat culture that blights the game these days. This WC has has been full of it unfortunately.............

How can you say this after watching how Holland played, they had nothing else in mind apart kicking fuck out of Spain, from the off that was their tactics, shocking!

Holland were physical, yes, dirty no, spain looked for a foul everytime a dutch player came near them and card crazy webb didnt help.  Still robben should haveput his chance away and Sneider went missing.

BBC coverage was shite so biased towards spain.   Hansen and Shearer complaining about fouling,  Pot kettle black!!

Oh well roll on the euros.

Hup holland Hup

Little Holland on Avon

We only sing when we are winning I know, but anyone who thinks that Holland deserved to win that is living in the land of cloud cuckoos. Probably one of the worst finals I have seen (I have only seen since 1966 so I cannot say definitively) but on any criteria Spain were the best side. If it was judged on points,Spain won hands-down, coincidentally if it was judged on goals Spain won that one too, Corners Spain, Cards Spain, Shots on Goal, Shots off target etc but still a big disappointment. Maybe if it was judged on avoiding defeat for 90 minutes and fouling at every opportunity Holland could have won, but I saw no other way,

OHNO you didn't, Rich!

Sneijder top goal scorer and Holland to win 2-1 Smiley

Dead excited about this now, I really began to doubt I would ever see this. After watching us play soo well for years and then collapsing, I am delighted that we are not less flashy but in with a real shout.

All banter aside, I really hope England do well in the next WC for you guys...the feeling of being this close to winning the WC is something everyone should experience once in their lifetime. (OBv I would still want you to lose to us in the final then though Smiley )

There are a number of us on here who have seen England WIN a World Cup in our lifetime. Living in Spain for the last  seven years I may get to enjoy the feeling once more albeit surreptitiously. If your Madrid rejects can beat Barcelona's finest then you will deserve it. Good luck.

if germany can beat spain and then i get HU vs brent and win, my life will be complete.

Firstly, you ain't even in the same sweep!

Secondly, you will not beat my Dream Team Spain! I shall be facing Ace2M with the added bonus that if I lose I've backed Holland pre tourney lol

come on Spain for a freeroll!!!!

No is quite easy from this position, even easier if you have the favourite.

I hope he comes back, as I need to know how to trade my entire bankroll out of this position.

Ok, here is a nice stress free way of making money(IMO)

I am already at a slightly bigger price.

Take the 1.48 or bigger(bf) on there being no new winner(see mkts), and with Spain/Portugal the only real potential threat of this, if they are to reach a final, are they going to be smaller than 1.48, NO WAY, so back out at the evens or bigger price.

Just a little help from TK.

ps. Ive had 10 points at a bigger price.

GL

The harder they come...... the bigger they fall.

Come on Holland.

Plz let me beat that bellend Blatch.

Let the Gods of integrity, loyalty, trust, commitment, honesty and faith be on my side.

In the words of Bill Shankly 'If you are first you are first. If you are second you are nothing.'

Good luck with the final.

WORLD CUP FINAL BABY!!!

Obv thought it was  a City fan - .... to win nothing at all.

Those of us who remember 2 finals in the 70's wish you all the best. If life was fair you'd already have it won.

Is there any chance of testing Dubai's reach with the arbitrator fraternity - there is no way anyone can swerve two penalties without fraternal help surely? ;-) In other news anyone else have Villa first goal and Spain win 1-0 at 14-1? (I didn't btw - it was a straight lay no profit)

The 'grass-roots' argument is bollocks, unless we're going to have a world cup final with no linesmen. and jumpers for goalposts

surprised me to see that we're winning all time head to head vs germany

Of the teams remaining only Brazil and Uruguay have better h2h records with England and they should both be in the other half of the draw after today's games. Final anyone?

Rules of crash - http://www.pagat.com/partition/crash.html  note that Crash and the other games on this page are not high stake gambling games. They are usually played for a small amount of money, and there is no process of betting to raise the stake. no surprise there then  Cheesy

Gl DC and Gl Rookie

Interesting to see that Sunday night tourney at Stars 3 years ago had a $60k prize pool and now all the Sunday tourneys irrespective of buyin are guaranteed $1million. Lets hope I can win one in 3 years time!

Tank

Great Thread!

You are proving that goal setting with a realistic target is a great motivator (and that you can play well enough to achieve it). Good luck in the WSOP hunt and make sure you celebrate well when you finally hit the 4000.

Potless
