The job is Facilities Manager for an entertainment management company (won't say which one just yet).

For those that don't know what a Facilities Manager is, we look after all aspects of running an office from Property and lease negotiations, fit-outs, moves, service contracts, Health and Safety, Security and so on and so forth.....

Still haven't heard anything.....I'll keep you posted.

I haven't been told yet.

I am expecting a call today as the other bloke had his second interview last Friday.

I'm going to call the agency after lunch to see if they have had any feedback or a decision yet.

I'll keep you all posted.

Thanks for sharing my anxiety guys...it's a fab outlet this place   Grin

Had my second interview for a dream job yesterday, it is down to myself and one other bloke.

I am now in that anxious stage of waiting to hear if I got the job or not.  scared

I believe that I am the favourite as my work history is relevant to this particular role, but I have no idea if the other guy is more suited for the job or not AAARRGH!!!!!....

If it's not too late, give Nildram a look into as a ISP.  I have never had any problems with them and the price is not too bad either.

I once had a wart on my thumb for years when I was young, it was in a particularly bad spot as I kept knocking it.  I tried all of the tricks,  the stuff from the chemist, tried it all.  Then one day my Grandmother picked a Dandelion and smeared the white milky sap from the hollow stalk and the wart was gone within a fortnight.

Absolute true story.

Reader's Digest have a book on natural medicine, but I think it is more natural therapies than the old wives tales type solutions.

Keeping acurate (and honest) notes on your own play, your winnings and losses, and your opponents (this seems hard work to start with, but it becomes second nature after a while) really helps.  Analysing your play also helps (hence the note taking).

One thing that improved my game a hell of a lot was reading advice on forums such as this one, and asking questions on forums such as this one.  The advice gained from these forums are, more often than not, top notch.
10  Poker Forums / The Rail / Still on a buzz... on: March 14, 2006, 02:52:00 PM
Hi guys and gals,

I am still buzzing from a tourney I played last night on Betfair.  It was a £20 multi, and it was one of those times when almost everything just goes to plan.  I was chip lead for almost 3/4 of the tourney, and only played one hand poorley where I lost about 2/3 of my stack (my opponent had a very well concealed full house and played the hand exceptionally well), but I was able to make some magnificent plays and well timed bluffs to make it to the final table with 4th largest stack, and then to whittle the field down and come first.

I was a bit daunted coming to the final table, I had around 24,000 chips and the chip leader had over 100,000 in chips.  I normally play the final table like a SNG (more of a state of mind I guess), but this time I played it as it was, the final of a tourney.

Sorry for boring you all with this, but it is a result of advice from forums such as this that really help fine tune my game, and I wanted to share my thanks and appreciation with you all.

Keep up the excellent tips and advice you guys share, it really does help.  thumbs up

G'day fellow Aussie.

I can answer your question about poker when you get back to Aus (particularly in Brisvegas)....The Treasury Casino has a pretty damn good card room from what I have been told.

Good luck with it all and welcome to Blonde.  We need a few more antipodes here to show them all how it's done  Wink

I won from a radio station in Australia tickets to a Billy Ray Cyrus concert (Don't tell my heart...my achy breaky heart....), a bottle of tequila and Mick Jagger CD's.

From XFM radio station in London I won tickets to two concerts, Muse and The Divine Comedy, and a CD player.

I won an easter hamper when I left the army, one of the boxes of chocolate almonds had weavels in the nuts, and I didn't realise until I nearly finished the box...makes me sick just thinking of it still...
