Hey,
Playing £1 £2 at empire, table is now forming and everyone is sitting with 50-80 except for one guy who buys in for 350. I sit with 100. Thoughts wanted for preflop, flop and turn really :/
First hand, utg (350) makes it 12 and its folded to me on the button with

. I don't really like shoving as its against a randoms 6x utg range and am either going to be -EV flipping or chopping when called, don't like 3betting as it really only leaves me with one pot sized bet and hate just getting it in hoping, so elect to call. Blinds fold, pot 27.
Flop is

. He leads for £20 after 5-6s. I think shoving here is bad as when we're called we're either giving them a freeroll or beat i think, and flatting looks weak so he may shove some non club turns too. Plus if he has a hand like Ax

we can get it in on non club turns with way more equity. So i elect to flat (thoughts)
Turn is

. He doesn't think for too long again and checks. Pot is 67 and i have 67 back. I think checking behind doesnt give us any extra value from all his KcKx - 10c-10x combos as is prob not calling non club rivers, betting 35 with 35 back looks pretty strong and might get him to fold the hands we're getting value from. Shoving makes are hand look a bit more like a KcQx float type thing which might get picked off by Ax hands or the KK-1010 combos mentioned earlier, so I chose to shove.
I thought it was interesting as the hand is essentially in a complete vaccuum given it was the first hand of a new table and was readless. Any thoughts to my line? (Will post results later)
