I've been lurking for a while as I don't have much to say so here I go with my inaugural post.
A logo needs to convey the values and identity of the website - what it does and why it does it
Why is it called blonde ? What does it mean to be part of blonde ?

I'm no expert on branding but I think that the image of a female is confusing the identity of the logo when it surely derives from Dave Colclough's nickname. It also slightly obsures the reverse image of the spade which links it to poker. So if you create a symetrical unisex hairstyle it means that you see both the blonde image and the poker image equally. I also think it is common enough to break the domain name over 2 lines without confusing people into thinking that there should be a hyphen in it but the .com part should be emphasised equally instead of faded which might be hard to replicate on other branded items. So I think the logo should be more like this. (I apologise in advance if I shouldn't have modified the picture you put up but I am rubbish at drawing on a computer.)
