I went to Leeds festival this year and on the last day when everyone is packing up and the occasional idiot or...bunch of idiots  setting light to tents I looked to my left and saw poker chips everywhere!! It was really quite sureal.  >:? If I had known of your need for poker chips i would have picked them up......actually I probably wouldn't - I was too concerned about the plume of black smoke heading my way across the field and my cup of tea getting cold.

ok I'm not a hardcore festival goer......give me a cuppa instead of a beer anyday

Indeed, team "billy no mates" shall return at BB4 and this time we won't make the school boy error of getting myself to play the decider after I've have consumed vast amounts of alcohol. To be honest I was probably more drunk in the first game I played and won. I suspect my failure was infact that I had began to sober up when asked to play the decider.

I second the advantages of playing under the influence of alcohol. I was too damn sober for the first game, although buzzing from the gallons of coke I had drunk throughout the tournament. The second heads up I played I won!! and now I have to decide whether this was because:

a) The bottle of wine I had consumed

b) The sureal state I was in at 6am

c) The slightly smaller raises I was making because each flop

great way to learn to play Heads Up Smiley

I still stand by that now, and if I ever get to the point where it really is becoming tedious, then, like any job, I’ll do something else. Today wasn’t entertaining, but you can’t expect every session to be fun. I’m still loving the game and as long as I keep playing live, do other things, and so on, I’m confident I’ll be sound as a pound.

The best job in the world will have boring days and even periods.....you just have to be patient and wait for it to past.

Was reading post in all seriousness then read....

Jodie Marsh smokes, talks and is too much generally. I don't think I've ever seen someone turn so ugly in just a week. I think it is hilarous how in her interview prior to entering the house she wanted everyone to see the real her and realise that she isn't the slag she has been portrayed to be in the tabloids - however everything she has done and said in there (at least what I have seen) has absolutely cemented the image of vile slag that she is! Shocked

Saying that keep her and Pete in and get rid of George - personally not as interesting (not as many arguments) and shouldn't he be out there doing his job rather than being paid by the public to be sitting on his arse all day on tv?

They aren't really top-class celebs but I think that helped   introduce Chantelle and fool them into thinking she is also of celeb status. Ok this really is trash TV - but I'm hooked.... but I won't be paying a penny to vote anyone out - rather give to charity in otherways than via a 'revamp my status' show.

I should also be working rather than airing my views on reality tv  >:?

18 out of 20  - I think the eyes gave it away. Ban all sunglasses from the cardroom!

I have never actually played at the Gala Notts but have observed and found it very smoky - can't imagine what my throat and lungs would feel like in the morning if I actually played and sat through hours of it. I am an ex-smoker and the more non-smoking places turning up the better but its a very selfish view as this means less temptation for me to scab a fag and start again. When we smoke we develop nicotine receptors in our brain and these add to the cravings we suffer when being deprived of a cigarette. Basically our body thinks it needs nicotine because of the receptors and triggers off cravings and hence thoughts of cigarettes. Over time of not smoking we manage to deal with cravings and the feelings subside - however the receptors never go! Therefore once a smoker always a smoker and it takes just one cigarette to wake these receptors again and you're back to £packs/day again.

Bring on the non-smoking tables - but provide designated smoking areas, better ventilation........personally a bigger card room at the Gala or a new casino offering these facilities.

Question 8 )

The 2 claimants are asked to undergo a paternity test using a sample of blood. The one that agrees is proven not to be the son of the king. The natural son refuses as he knows that he suffers from haemophilia (a resessive genetic trait which prevents blood clotting and known to be common in the royal family because of incest  ) and possibly because of the method used to obtain blood for paternity test knows that he risks injury and may possibly die as a result (bleed to death).

Therefore he is declared the actual heir as the representatives of the king knew of the medical disorder.

Kind of tenous this one as in an age capable of providing a paternity test it would be assumed that they are also capable of obtaining genetic material by a mean other than blood.......but hey its a logic puzzle Smiley
