QPR definitely are NOT worth a punt at the current price of around 8/1.
One firm have you at 15/1 (I took 17/1 with them 2 days ago), I don't want to run the risk of having my post deleted so PM me if you want to know who, or check out the easyodds comparison site. By mid June I think you will be pleased with the signings. Re poker - Do you offer coaching?

Have to disagree with Ariston. Most decent sales people working for decent companies earn £30-40k+ basic and at least as much again in commission. On a part time basis its fine, but who wants to have a job that offers no protection for holidays, illness, births, deaths etc? Saying that paying a basic to a rep makes them lazy is incorrect, any saleperson worth their salt would not be able to survive on their basic alone.
I take it your employed then?? All self employed people dont get paid when on holiday etc. Everytine a client doesn't show up for an appointment I have lost money. You tell 'em. Same boat again but wouldn't have it any other way. Tracey - There's a difference between being self employed and being a salesperson on commission only. If you are self employed you are normally trading/earning off the strength of the product/service you personally provide and have control over, so the downsides are worth the risk. You dont have the option of having things as they are now, but also getting £3k a month guaranteed income, if you did I assume you'd take it? Long time, no speak by the way!!! Ariston, you seem to be talking about the sort of salespeople who earn £12-£15k a year and who take the piss, I am talking about protection for serious illness, not a cold! Anyway, look on any sales recruitment site and count the number of decent jobs with large companies who offer commission only. Then look at the number of £100k OTE jobs out there that come with a £40k+ basic wage. If commission only was so convenient why do the companies pay so much to recruit and keep sales professionals and why is there so little demand for it?

On that basis can I order myself a 12 month subscription to any magazine of my choice using your account details? If it works then I keep the magazine (for the full 12 months!!), if it doesnt I pay you £15 by direct bank transfer....

Not when the bank find out you've posted your details on the forum of the largest community in the world. And ebay. (I'm assuming the jokers wouldnt care if they got hold of the magazine etc)
You are (sort of) right of course, but still, I'd rather avoid the hassle of calling the bank/police and explaining what happened....which is why I advise against posting full bank details on the net.

Cheers Sandy I've just subscribed to Poker Player using your account info and start my peak membership, with all the trimmings - with Virgin Active tomorrow That information (account number and sort code) is on any cheque you write - and like Sandy said, allows people to transfer money to your account, but not the other way round. I am sure Sandy's is in the clear regarding my joke, but I also belive that it is possible for some people to set up direct debits using the info provided. For example a gift subscription to any magazine. Sandy would be protected by the DD guarantee, but still it's not the wisest thing to do (on ebay) IMO. Glad to hear it went well sofa, to be honest it sounded pretty solid as soon as his £5k cleared.

if I offend anyone by being self defecating I am sorry. wondered what that smell was When I decided to give up (after 13 years of 20-30 a day) I went to Boots and bought the entire course of patches for around £60. I did not change any other aspect of my life, which included binge drinking sessions, poker in pubs, casinos and home games, but I did stop looking for reasons to smoke (I've just done x I really need a fag etc) and after a few weeks it became easier, after 7 weeks I realised I hadnt had a patch on for a few days and never went back to them. That was 5 years ago in October, never had a drag since. My advice - Spend the money on patches and stop thinking about it so much!

Am I right to assume the Sunday is full up, but there are spaces for Saturday? I ask because a friend of mine registered at 10.50am today and requested Sunday. I'm assuming if there were spaces the link would be removed?
