Presume, all main day 1s are now 10 levels?

What are the plans for day two, in terms of number of levels? If there are 10-12 levels, we should finish at a time where I can manage the 100 mile drive home and get a decent night's kip, else it's tricky, 14+ levels and I'll need to get a hotel.

To paraphrase... Any advice on finishing times for Fri day 1 and Sat day 2 UKIPT main, appreciated.

Just heard from DTD. Sharing, in case anyone else was interested.

"Only 10 lvls day 1...... finish around 8.30pm, but if you make day 2 it will be a 12hr day."

Think I'd convinced myself on that turn, he couldn't/wouldn't have AA or AK given his sizing, as he's only extracting any kind of action from anything other than KK/AQ/A8.

Am guessing that not knowing any of you guys / my table, was a disadvantage.  Would love to hear from anyone on my table who witnessed said hand.

Level 4 or 5, sat very quiet with 60k (10k above starting stack). Level 4 or 5 (400/800 + 100).  Get dealt  in the hi-jack.  Raise to 2000.  Button, villain, is a presumably a reg, old-school, aggressive (witnessed leading out pot sized bets wherever he's shown pre-flop aggression, shown down TPTK once, other than that not got to show down), raises to 5000.   I call. 

Is pre-flop ok?

Flop  .

I check and villain lives up to his MO and bets his standard pot ~10000.

WWYD? I called, thinking I'm going to be folding to another PSB, if it comes.  Unsure if villain would slow up, given I clearly had something.

Turn is a K - he bets pot again, I shove, he calls. 

Before the cards are turned over, everyone at the table are stating (correctly) the villains hand, which is AK, as if it's 100% the only hand he can have.  I think the only shock to onlookers is how strong my hand is.  At this point I'm thinking I should have been folding the flop.  Seems a bit exploitable to just fold on an A, or AA flop though?

Any thoughts, welcomed.  My first tournament in a year after a hiatus.

No has to be used tomorrow. Unlucky.  You must have known this is you played them all week and post on here as its clear in the thread for the deepstack the terms and conditions.

I played them all week, whilst unwell given Tighty's quote that they are transferable, and if I wasn't better, I could use it at another time. Do you have a link to the T&Cs please?

The Deepstacks start on the first Thurs(online)/fri(live) of the month so I would say 5-8 June sounds right

UKIPT Nopttingham is 5-12 May so I wouldn't have thought that would affect early June tournaments

Typically the Main deepstack is supported by a Fri night and Sat night XXL25 and a Sunday afternoon £100 type comp

At this stage thats what I would be expecting

Am planning, with by brother (who's based in Dorset) a weekend of poker, likely to be end of May/early June.  Does anyone have any ideas if:

- a monthly deepstack will run?
- and if so, will it be 5th to the 8th of June or the w/e before?
- or any other tournaments that are likely to be on that w/e?

We're just trying to pencil some time in/book hols.  Hopefully someone in the know, will know.  Didn't know if having the UKIPT in May would affect a Jun deepy?

Won a seat the other night, but looks as if I have to work the whole of this weekend.  I see the token is valid for 60 days.  To avoid same happening next month, do you know now, when the December deepstack will be?  29th-1st or 6th to the 8th if there is a December one running?

Can't afford to flick in the £60, but nevertheless, want to thank Rob, Simon and DTD for their efforts and generosity in making the Grand Prix as available as possible.  If I get a £10 refund rather than the 1(1)p spent. It's going in a Marie Curie pot,
