Thanks for the welcome!  I actually got the nickname 'The Saint' from pokernickname.com a long time ago when online with some mates and it stuck... It could be worse, I'm sure!

I'm certainly not a Southampton fan, I have a season ticket at Cardiff City FC, the number one team in Wales.  I live in Cardiff and work in music, been playing poker properly (or not) for 2 years, all at low limits but have a real enthusiasm to learn.  Currently playing the 5 handed sit n goes on the Boss network and it's going well!

Well, sort of.  Been reading the forum for a long long time, but never really posted.  Just used to follow tournament updates.

So hello.

I think it's real value in tournaments is pre-flop as you can get people off hands with.  The problems seem to start when you don't connect on the flop and keep throwing chips into the pot.
