Im sorry Tikay, but you know me, I'm all for banter and having abit of a laugh, however their is a line.
The chips are an integral part of the game, you cant be putting them in drinks and leaving them in their. If they do go in drinks the chips need to be replaced before they get other chips sticky also.

Dropping them in their purposely and leaving them in their should always result in a penalty. With it sounding like abit of a party atmosphere you let the drink ban slide till next time, but player will be made aware of this.

I would give him a round of the table penalty, stop him drinking anymore.
If he makes any issue of it at all- disqualification.

Their absolutely no need for purposely putting chips in drinks.

His chips would need to be replaced with new chips to the same value.

I don't understand why the floor wasn't called upon the 1st chip going in his drink, had this been the case this ruling would have never popped up. Therefore dealer taken from table asap.

Definately a string bet, so long as 6k is a valid raise it would be 6k.

The £5000 gtd XXL returns to DTD.

Starting tomorrow the XXL has a twist to its concept.
GOODBYE RELOADS, HELLO CHOOSE YOUR STACK.

It is a pretty simple concept that allows players to buy in at their comfort zone, yet all play for the £5000 gtd prizepool. At the start you buy in for the amount and stack you want.

£25 = 20k start Stack (a huge 200bbs, so plenty to play with)
£50 = 40k start stack (perfect for late entry buyins as you would still start with 100bbs in lvl 4)
£75 = 60k start stack (again aimed at late entry, though obviously an option from the off)

Still 1 re-entry allowed, at any buyin level.

We feel this concept should be far better for the £25 player, not only is he getting the £5000gte again, but having such a deep start stack, and with their being no reloads, the element of gamble should hopefully be reduced to create a better game.
Also the different stacks option make the tournament very inviting to the higher buyin player aswel as the travelling players.

7pm starts and the 20minute clock also return, so registration and re-entry end at 9pm.

We hope that you all take to the new concept and we will see more of you on a regular basis.  The big value tourneys are back.
