What do you think about Gary Rowett though? Never got a side promoted.
Liked him at Derby but when the finishing line was in sight the wheels came off. Lost it when it mattered at Burton too.
Going into brand new set-up, uncertain how players/fans are going to respond, unproven.
Big question mark, big variable I think. Good luck to him though.
Derby were/still are skint hence why he left. Stoke are the richest club in the league by a mile (without the huge para payment advantage this year and next). Burton are more potless than me. Money talks in football. I don't back things blind because i live in Stoke. Have Stoke lost many players at all? I will be doing my big payout season accas soon, Always throw in a championship side either to win outright, or just be promoted. Is their that steadiness about Stoke going down that Burnley had when they bounced straight back up a couple of years ago?

I'm not sneering. Genuinely not. I can see very legitimate reasons why Americans went for someone totally against the grain of recent times. They're reasons for voting against the likes of Clinton were perfectly valid. The biggest problem with what they did was vote for Trump. He barely aligns with anything at all of what the anti establishment voters wanted. He isn't just more of the same, he's another level above what has gone before him in regards pushing agendas and policies that will provide personal gains for him in years to come. If the Americans wanted a total change in how a President ran the country, Sanders was exactly who they needed in. Obviously that was a democratic thing first and foremost.

Trump is now saying the FBI are right and not Russia as opposed to two days ago when Russia were right and the the FBI wrong.
He just agrees with whomever spoke to him last.
My 5 year old is brighter and more consistent than he is.
I actually think he's senile. I think age has had its effects on him and now they are clearly showing. It's why using buzzwords and such language is so good for him, because he gets to repeat them time and again in so many different situations and they are easier to remember then. I still laugh every time I see him on tv now. I mean they actually voted him in, that many people voted for him :-)

The good thing (one of many!) about Mahrez is that we could play him pretty much anywhere in the final 3rd. He's not nailed down to a single position so its great for rotation. Whilst I don't think anyones spot is particularly under threat (due to the sheer number of games we're likely to play), Sterling only has 2 years left on his contract and there is zero chance we let him go for free. Should the worst case scenario happen and we have to move him on further down the line, at least with Mahrez in the squad we're somewhat prepared should Raheem not put pen to paper. I don't envy Pep having to pick, week in week out, any 3 of Mahrez, Sane, Sterling, Jesus, Aguero and Bernardo. Hard life It's a hard life alright :-) The attacking play will be something else to watch from City this season. One who is flying under the radar in that sense is Mendy, who I think will be an absolute joy to watch from FB

Have to say I've never been as excited to watch a Liverpool in an upcoming season. The team is just loaded with exciting players. Keita is gonna be one of those players fans absolutely fall in love with. He does everything. the only thing is I hope when he picks up his customary red card or 2 this season, he has already established himself firmly as a fans favourite by then!

Loving the signing of Shaqiri. Quality player who most people have a skewed perception of. Different type of player to Salah and Mane which will give Klopp much better options this season now when looking to tweak his tactics. I wonder if there are no more attacking signings, if at some stage we'll see Salah play centrally with Mane and Shaqiri either side.

It was an incredible pre world cup to try and line up who would take home the golden boot, betting purposes wise. I had gone with Lukaku myself based on what was a paper weight group. As it turned out, the same group yielded the win. Definitely the track to go down in years to come with top scorer bets imo.
