Yeah thats right, the official did'nt even start the count so it must have been confusing for Barrera.

Awesome fight again from the featherweight Mexicans,  I fancied Marquez before the fight.  Barrera started the stronger but after the first round Marquez started to take over and dominate, after the dramatic 7th it could have went either way.

Tough choice to choose your favourite out of them 2 but after what barrera did in the 7th I was hoping for a Marquez win.

Once again the Las Vegas judges make an absolute joke of all the score cards, Steve Forbes won the first fight IMO, the little Phillie guy held his own for parts of the fight and the Main event was never that wide.

Great night of boxing tho, hope Barrera comes back for the rematch!

I don't think its the ideal board to slow play bottom set against a player that you have no information on also there are 5 cards that can come which could lead you to being pushed off the best hand if the are good.

Any A K Q 8 or 7 and you have no idear where you are and its going to cost you the majority of your chips if not all to find out.

3k is quite a large bet for the person to lead out with against 1 opponent, slightly over the full size of the pot, AA,QQ or 88 are my main thoughts atm. (Doubt it is that tho, might be a little to predictable for a threadlike this)

Quite a small raise utg with AA for a guy that has just sat down at a table, I think most people would make it 4x or more the bb with AA in this situation, they don't know how the table is playing so they dont want to have 4 callers with AA utg against strangers.

I go with the raise up to 8k - 9k.

Nightmare decision...very unliky that he has KQ or Q8, looks more like QQ,JJ,1010 or the outside chance of 88.

Still not sure what I would do tho lol

Might go the catious route, If he has QQ or 88 fair play ballsy move but he still has a strong chance of winning the pot anyway, if he has the sets then you made a correct pass.  If hes on a total bluff or has pocket aces then hes insane and you've got a good chance of getting the chips back off him, just hope no one else gets em first.

Glad it was'nt me!

Well that's a pass.  Cheesy

You've kept the pot small for this reason. Not commited to calling off your stack when a bad card comes.
I don't fancy him having a busted draw often enough here to warrant a call.

We're beaten by any pockets 77+, any ace and any 8.

Big turn raise of around about a tonne might have been a good play.

That sums it up.

He moves allin , The chips in the pot thing makes me dwell up for a little but calling £300 to win £100 with a pair of wasnt to appealing, the pots small we only have £50 in with a weak hand and the danger card has came (spades and a paired board and an ace).  Need to get this right %100 of the time for it to be a profitable call.

After finding out what he had the £100 raise on the turn would have finnished it, but the ace slowed me down not because I thought it made him 2 pr but because if it made him 1 pair I want to see the river to make sure the board dosnt pair and the spade dosent come because if he had a ace with flush draw hes not going anywhere and we have created a big pot out of position with a weak hand against a loonie player.

I fold and he flips over Jc7c.

Well played by him if he meant it but that sort of crazy play he was setting himself up for a big blow later.

Couple of other things, when he moves allin he pushing his mountain of chips over the line, dealer trys to push the back and tell him to leave them infront of him, he insists they stay over the line.

Now that confused things a bit, Is he trying to intimdate or is he expecting to lose them by sticking them out there instead of leaving them safly infront of himself.

Sorry, can only put it down as I done it but looking for ways others would have played it too. Can look back on it in hignsight and see how it compairs.

You call the £25

Pot: £110

River Card is

Board: 368A8 No Flush

You Check the River

He moves All-In for £300

£300 to call into a pot of £410...

ok

Pot: £60

Board: 368A

You Check

He Bets £25 (Very Weak bet, Thinking we are still ahead here, this is where I make a small mistake I think, still trying to keep the pot small tho)

You to act, whats the play?
