You have taught them well!

Ace news on Gemini Jan - any more news on where she came?    Ladbrokes don't seem to like keeping us updated.

You have already met my mother in-law!   Like the photo.   Hope you did not give her too many tips - she might come back and beat as all at our next family game!

Sounds/looks like your having a fab time!

My bro in-law is also on the cruise - Jamie or otherwise known as Mr_Muse_Man!    He to got a bad beat, pair Kings v pair Queens - a Queen came on the flop.

Mum in-law played in the Womens Free-Roll yesterday - still waiting to see results on Ladbrokes.

Enjoy the rest of the cruise.  Cool

Thanks for trying to justify my play Tikay, inexperienced on TV I am but poker I'm not.  Cheesy

With 2 years of playing Texas Holden No-Limit mostly live with family, 2 games at Binion’s, 1 at Rendezvous, Brighton and of course the reason why I got the last space on The Peoples Poker – SportingOdds Poker Challenge was from winning a 20 man live tourney at The Sportsman Casino in London – prize money £1000.   My biggest win yet!   Nick (my husband) coming 5th – winning £200.  It was prize money for the top 5.

I am half way through reading ‘Harrington on Hold’em’.  A very good book for those that are wanting to improve their poker skills, learn the multiply by 4 rule (one of Tikay’s tips on the 1st day) or just want to see how you would play my dreaded Jacks (check out page 130-136).   “Very few players would make the mistake of calling a bet from an early raiser before the flop with a pair of deuces”. – Quote from Harrington page 132!

Not trying to sell it but...Of course it is also the number 1 tourney poker book.

Lucky for me Nick bought Volume 1 and 2 for Christmas.  Cheesy

 Cheesy

Thanks for the warm welcome all.

You made me blush Tikay, actually that was Matt after he highlighted 3 of your quotes!

Look forward to hearing your comments after the game from those of you that do get to watch it!!!

Hey All,

I'm Sn8Queen, a newbie on this forum and thought I would start off with wishing you all a very happy new year!

Nice to see you remember me Tikay from The Peoples Poker tourney.  Looking forward to watching it on TV in a couple of weeks.
