if Greg Raymer wins again this year it would be an absolutely remarkable feat and very very very good for the game. naturally i would like to see a Brit win but if not then i will be hoping he can do it.

just caught up with end of day one action.... brilliant updates as always and am still chuckling at the muppet pic. thankyou again everyone at blonde. i know i will be knackered by the end of this tourney but my only comfort is you guys will be absolutely hanging....great stuff. Anyone out there got any more thin, fat, ugly, average looking blokes with glasses/ monocles and / or facial hair for Tikay to track down? - reminds me of Anneka Rice zipping about on Treasure Hunt but far more amusing. And did the muppet make it through? can't seem to find a definitive answer

just think you save up all year put 10k down and play and are 1-2on are being out before 2/3rds of the field even take there seat crue sport poker
and you get rivered by a guy in a muppet suit.... very cruel indeed

11  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: UB cashout gone to mystery netteller account - can anyone help? on: April 19, 2005, 09:42:55 PM
thanks to everyone who has responded. as it transpires the neteller account is good and my winnings are safe. i think the transfer of funds then cash out to ladbrokes is a sound suggestion....i gather they have a big week next week too, so maybe not all of it will make it back to my debit card! best, the guru.

13  Poker Forums / The Rail / UB cashout gone to mystery netteller account - can anyone help? on: April 17, 2005, 06:35:23 PM
hi, am wondering if anyone can offer any help - i came second in 9.5k gtd event on UltimateBet on fri night/sat am....and hence did my first cashout of 1.8k usd. Expected the money to go onto my visa card which i have used to make deposits however i get an email today saying its gone to my netteller account which i have no knowledge of. i also get an email from netteller acknowledging this receipt. what is worrying is that there is another email from an internet company acknowledging payment of something for usd 150. again i no nothing of this. i am worried am getting screwed here but UB have not got a phone number for contacting support and am anxiously awaiting email responses. Can anyone offer any suggestions / help? thx.

hi
my first and probably last post on the forum until i become more qualified at this game i'm starting to love - but just wanted to say DEFINITELY KEEP UP THE LIVE TOURNEY UPDATES - they are great reading for those of us not there, and maybe like me, not ready or capable for the move up from small stakes internet poker. Your updates really capture the atmosphere at these big events and are great reading during the quieter moments of online MTT's.

One more point to add - your forum members all seem to know what they are talking about and you do not seem to suffer from the slaters / baiters / timewasters that plague other similar sites. not sure how you've managed this but everyone here seems helpful and friendly and there is a good spirit to the place. keep up the fantastic work.....it is both innovative and refreshing.
