There are so many ways to do this with varying degrees of speed and cost.
Email: Slow but simple and cheap (unless you have download limits)
Via router or Hub using file transfer wizard - depends on if you have the equipment to do this
Via direct crossover ethernet cable - need the cable and also need to know how to ammend IP details
Burn to disk - but doubt Laptop CD can do this
External Hardrive - expensive but external hardrives can be an asset.
..........many more ways via serial ports etc.
However probably the easiest way is to use something you may have or can buy cheaply which can be an asset (therefore not wasting money)
IPods can do this, i think Digital Cameras could even help transfer files (i suppose it depends on Camera)
If you going to need to spend money then one of the cheapest ways would be to buy a USB Pen. For about £10 you can get 128MB USB 2 pen drive (£40 get 1GB) and use that. Larger files can be chopped up using WIN RAR software. May be long winded but it will work and really easy to do. I have a USB pen, dont use it that often, it stays on my keyring and is invaluable when i have needed it.
Hope this helps
