Absolutely over the moon to make day 2, I managed to satellite in for €15 so makes it even sweeter.

Had an amazing run from level 10 were I sat with only 10BB it included Pocket aces 3 times Jacks twice AK three times amongst smaller pairs and strong aces each time the big pairs stood up so I guess I'm due a spanking on day 2...... Lol

Well done to every one else who has made it to day 2

Cheers

Jay

I managed to satalite in for the Friday, first satalite I have ever managed to win online so I expect to get bust out first level...lol

There is also a Premier Inn at castle marina, rooms are usually around £70 a night as standard, not sure if it has a poker rate.

I voted for deal with % kept for first.

I think that's what happened heads up in the last grand prix, I think it was £15k each with £3k left for the winner, although when this was first suggested I believe the chip leader at the time turned it down only after the chips levelled themselves out was it agreed, I can imagine this happens quite allot when making deals.

I like the idea of the red and black card voting system so the players have the option to remain anonymous if they wish. Also I would say wait 30-40 minutes or a player has to be knocked out before a deal can be suggested after one is rejected

I seem to remember that one of the reasons for Rob deciding to start his own poker club was to do with him being targeted by the other players at a final table after he had decided against a deal...although don’t quote me on this I may have dreamt it.....lol. at the end of the day it is his club and as long as all the players know before buying into a comp what the rules are then no one can complain.

I'm with your legal team Rob!! ....be positive, you've crossed every: t "and dotted every" i "they have asked.
The bottom line with the Gutshot is the GC wanted them to comply and apply for the appropiate proper licence....and surely thats what you've done to the letter.

I totally agree with ripple, the GC have asked you to jump through hoops during the process of getting this licence and from what I can see you have delivered on every occasion.

It actually seems ludicrous to even comprehend them not giving you the licence.

It would be like you holding     on a      three clubs    Board  and the dealer pushes the pot over to the guy holding ……it wouldn’t happen you have the nuts.

I won’t wish you luck because I think you have taken that out of the equation, if you don’t get the licence it will be a travesty.

(I'll get off my soap box now........)
