Hello Mate,

Can you do me a favour and wish Martyn Cavanagh and Roberto some good luck for the tourney, both of whom are more than capable of winning it.... I will be checking up on their progress till I leave the office.

Prediction : Martyn, Iwan, Roberto for 1st, 2nd, 3rd.... any order will do.

Cheers mate, and thanks for the updates.

One of my old flat mates from Uni is playing in this tournament, Robert Rees, was hoping for a chip count and if you could get a photo then that would be a great bonus.

Cheers.

Didn't work out so well for me yesterday, but I wanted to wish goodluck to all the welsh boys playing today, and there are quiet a few!
My picks would have to be - Anthony Romanello (if he is not playing, then I will have to begrudgingly settle for Roberto), Martin 'the grandmaster' Cavanagh (whose ability far outwieghs his luck) and last but certainly not least, Tariq 'yes, but I took the backdoor flush into consideration' Arees, the last minute Iraqi/Welsh draft, who will either blitz the tournament or exit before his dinner bowls.
All the best Lads!! and a well done to Dan, who bumped his way into Friday.

I have never posted anything on the forum before, though I read it often, and am saddened to be writing about something so tragic.
Dusty's passing came as a shock to everyone who plays in cardiff and swansea, whether they knew him well or not, as he was a player who never went unnoticed.  Angry one second then laughing in the next, he wore his heart firmly on his sleeve, a quality which endeared him to anyone who met him.
Our prayers go out to his family.
May he rest in peace.
