Somebody mentioned to me that they were pissed off at the amount of peeps that sign up and make one post confirming their registration in the blonde bash.

I pointed out that a lot of the newbies were +1's. Partners of exisiting blonde members.

One of the great things about blonde is that it is not clique. As we continue to grow, we need to remember how we were welcomed when we joined the forum. Just because we were lucky enough to find blonde earlier than others, does not mean we have any more right to attend the blondebash than someone who just heard about it yesterday.

If blonde becomes clique then it's a sad day indeed. I know Ironside was only joking with his Sauchiehall street, football shirt comment. I just hope others do aswell and aren't put off by it. Please everyone, don't feel shy about posting just coz you're new.

I, for one, would like to extend a  to all new blonde forum members attending the bash.

Hi everyone - I'm one of these "newbie" members who's signed up, not posted much and attending the blonde bash.  I also replied to Ironside's post about Sauchiehall street, football shirt comment etc but I took it in the way it was intended (as a joke?!?).....

Anyway, thanks to Tank for looking out for us newbies - it can be slightly daunting starting to post since you guys seem to all know each other so well - it can be difficult to break into that circle, but everyone seems friendly and Im sure in time as I (and other newvies) post more we will get to know ppl! Anyway, for the avoidance of doubt I'm DC (no not Dave Colclough - he's not as good as I am  Cheesy ... honest!) and hope to get to know ppl and meet some of you at the blonde bash (I will be the one p***ing away my chips so you'll all want to be at my table!)

Later

can i just add anyone with under 10 posts by the time of the bash will have to run down sauchiehall street in a celtic top then up it in a rangers top

So as a relative newbie to the site and to Cincins, if I havent made at least 10 posts I have to go out and buy a Rangers and Celtic top?  or are they provided? Either way, I want it noted this is post #2 .... only 8 more to go!

My opinion for whats it worth.....

Of the 3 options available to you, I think you can instantly discount a flat call - this sends out the signal you have a moderate hand.  After all his chat, player 1 will likely raise all in, leaving you with no option but to stick all your chips in (well, you'll have 1k left).  You're then in a 3 way fight, which is probably not where you want to be. Soooo, dont flat call.

That leaves you with 2 options - fold pocket Q's or re-raise all in.  Given the way the players have played, the situation you really want to get to (in my opinion) is a heads up with player 2 - his play is so erractic you've got to be confident with Q's. The question then becomes if you re-raise all in will player 1 call, or is he all chat? So how has he acted throughout the rest of the night - the last good hand he had, did he excitedly tell his friends?

Its not an easy call, but I would call his bluff, re-raise all in.  Then, hopefully, player 1 folds and u end up in a heads up with P2....

If it were me, thats what I would do, and P1 would call and show  and P2 would show    Cheesy
