I'm not a fan of the preflop limp, especially not on a table where you can reasonably expect action if you raise anyway.  I'd have been looking to play for stacks preflop but obviously we're never passing this flop so I think the line on the flop/turn may maximise value against this player as he'd been known to fire a couple of barrels with complete air.  Having said that, he had been a complete luckbox for the previous 2 hours and duly showed J7o to scoop after a blank on the end.  I sort of had a vested interest as i was on a percentage of The W1ng (something we usually do if we both enter the same comp, regardless of the size), and was of the opinion that by not raising preflop you're inviting any 2 cards to outdraw you, therefore when they do outdraw you it's not bad luck.

Evening all,

Posting this on behalf of a mate, who was the hero in this hand.  $5 rebuy on Stars, just after the break, average stack at the time was about 15k and we're still quite a way off the money.  I'll save my opinions on how it was played but would like to hear everyone elses views on it.  He tells me it was a pretty aggressive table with most hands being raised preflop, and the BB (villain) was known to be very loose.
