We're back at the hotel now, but before I hit the sack, I feel obliged to pick your brains momentarily and request your opinion on the following debate.
When I was talking to McLovin about my shaky flight over here and how at one point I wasn't sure if I was going to make it, he asked the rather morbid question: "If a plane does crash, which seating area gives you the best chance of survival?"
Although pilot's often tend to be found alive, initially, in films, I think we both agreed that the impact at the nose of the plane would be stronger than that of the back, but I also thought that the guys in the middle might have a better chance of escaping before any impending explosion due to being near to that emergency door. But then again, the plane could split in half, like it did in Lost, and leave those dudes in the middle in all sorts of trouble. Talking of lost, weren't most of the characters from Series 1 located at the front of the tail, and they seemed to survive the impact, so perhaps the impact at the front isn't that bad after all.
Hmm, can anyone shed any light or words of wisdom? I'm saddened to say that I'd genuinely like to know what the answer is.
I was checking the statistics on this recently and there is a widely held belief that that central seats are safer in the event of a crash. This is just bollix, statically your fcuked no matter where you sit, I also worry for your safety if you keep posting those match up pics for me
