Paul Ratchford hits a straight to bring the stacks almost even at this point they decide to split, Wadey an extra £10k, and Paul an extra £8k
So Paul Ratchford wins £53,000 for finishing second. Nice start to a holiday
and the winner, Waheed Ashraf from Nottingham winning £68,000. Well played
This is such a disappointing way to end a great tourney. I understand the reasons to deal, but surely you would want to play it out to see who actually wins? Brilliant updates Tighty, very entertaining. Meh, its OK if we all have your BR. Us mere mortals needs to lock some shit up. I guess most of us random fish care more about the wedge that a random trophy, sorry but true. Isn't 45k and 50k enough of a lock-up? I agree with Stu, always frustrates me as a viewer when they do a deal, and then another deal for what they left to play for. Nevertheless, absolutely thrilled for Wade. One of the nice guys at Gala/DTD. Easy to say when your not in that position IMO.........but if it was me I would not be worried about what anyone else (viewers) think. I'd be focused on getting the maximum for myself with minimum risk, unless I was Moorman, pab etc which I'm not even close to obv........... Couple of options to resolve this 1) DTD do same as poker stars and say there must be xxxx amount at the end to play for 2) DTD do similar to bellagio and keep xxx amount for another simialr type tournament? Updates have been simply superb tighty but I feel same as Stuart, abit of anti climax at the end with so many deals done and nothing to play for at the end of it

Ben Turnstill 70,000
Jen Mason 22,000
Adam Goulding 43,500. Looking VERY focussed. Julian Thew just moved to his table 12,000
RED-DOG 46,000 on a table with Woodley, Rokach, Horner and Stuart Rutter with 33,000
Pab 43,000
Rich Hare 21,000
Flushy 12,000
I think Woodley and Rokasch would make a lovely couple

OUTSTANDING JOB KEV. Very unlucky to Pete, can't really understand Dan's need to get it all in with K8, maybe didn't feel too confident with Pete getting the better of the early exchanges HU, so maybe a good tactic in the end that paid off.

MAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSIVE POT !!! Rasing war pre sees Mo and Pete Chara get 100k in each pre ... Flop comes Mo ALL IN Pete CALL for MO for Pete Turn River Mo has had one hell of a brain fart there ... Surely. And he departs in 7th for £8,750 Omigod - Mo has played solid over the whole week - unbelievable - is this the affect of playing for so long? WHAT? How can you say this is terrible, given Charalambous prolly folds QQ and Mo has bdfd/bdst and overs with this much in the middle it aint horrible. ul MO gg m8. gg chompy too. sigh Seems pretty poor to me, but need to know how much was in middle and how much was the shove? 250k or so in middle and then a plain shove for 400k or so isn't good no? prob get same answer for a 180k bet???

Gurpreet Nagi and Daniel Shelemy have a tussle in the blinds, raised preflop I believe. Check check. Nagi bets 30k and Shelemy moves all-in for 63.5k more. Nagi stares at his opponent for about a minute and says, "Something is telling me to call this." He does and flips over but before anyone can react, Shelemy is only able to show . The river is the . King high is good enough... "Call of the tournament," says Steve Jelinek. great poker by both- someone put this on hero call thread Amazing call - preflop though if one of them raised, the other called with Q5 or K2? hmmmmmmm

Oh Iwan...why are you such a bok....and not just a bok, a bok-squared... Literally at the same time Barry Neville pushes over the top of Rab Bain's late position raise with A-J and eventually gets called by 6-6. Ace on the flop immediately followed by a 6. Then as that's happening, Rana Gurnham raises to 14.1k UTG, and gets called by Paul Newman in UTG+1. Gurpreet Nagi moves all-in from the blinds and Gurnham pushes behind with Newman quickly folding... Nagi: Gurnham: ..... Nagi has Gurnham just covered and the latter is out. OMG any chance you can delete my post? vvul to both and I won't wish anyone else luck!!!!!!
