Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: Anyone ever had this message before on Blonde?

Hello folks,
Well after reading the post about how we should all have accounts on blonde i thought i would download the software and deposit some $. Downloaded it fine and after pinging manager about allowing me to open real money account with blonde i was able to make a deposit. I tried depositing with switch but it would not allow me to because it demanded a start date (my switch card has never had a start date on it, like most). So I thought fine, I will deposit with my credit card. This worked fine, yet strangely did not ask for a start date as would normally be the case. I deposited some cash and played a few games.
This morning I logged on and when i went to the cashier screen it said my account was being held. Thus i pinged the manager and was told that i needed to send in proof of identity in order to release my account.
My main question is this. Why was I able to access MY funds and play with them immediately after opening the account and now my money (albeit a modest sum) is unavailable to me until I prove who i am? I have never experienced this before on any of the tribeca skins. The manager told me it was KYC (Know Your Customer) but to be honest i'm a bit baffled by it all.
Not wishing to sound like a whinger, just wondering......
cheers
Dave

whilst i would say i play my best poker when semi pished (say 6 cans of stella) i make the mistake of carrying on drinking and playing. I normally play $5 or $10 sit and goes.
the other night i felt compelled to play $100 heads up. £300 loss later and feeling like 'i know i will regret this in the morning' i deposit £250 and sit at $3 $6 with $450. previosuly i only ever played 25 c/50 c. i managed to claw back $200 but in hindsight realise that i was 'AN IDIOT'

i have 'cut down' ;P. the doc doesn't think it's to do with alcohol which is a good/bad thing depending on how you look at it. had my blood samples taken today but they missed the vein twice so i now have three holes in my arms. i am thinking of moving to scotland to take up work as a trainee heroin addict.

Bolt this is too strange I am having exactly the same symptoms. I am off to see the neurologist on wednesday. I cannot raise my left foot. toe movement is restricted and tops of both my feet are numb. I suspect it is nerve damage , in my case possibly brought on by drink (I cane it too much). get it checked out as soon as possible bolt. I have had the symptoms for 5/6 weeks now and no improvement. I will let you know what doc says about my feet on weds.
