1  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: Vegas Trip Information for anyone looking to go this year. on: February 14, 2022, 05:00:03 PM
Just got back , stayed 23 jan - 10th feb
Vegas was very busy long lists for cash games , stayed at Bellagio most nights only about 3 or 4 empty tables , very busy
Venetian cash was very popular ,due to promotion running daily , tournaments were VERY busy .
Very strict on mask wearing , just my luck as soon as I get home they have dropped mask mandate.
there are still a lot of restaurants , buffets and shops that are closed or open part time.
bellagio buffet closes at 3pm
Wynn buffet only open weekends , ect
still had a great time , can't wait to go back when its all fully open again

It shouldn't happen.

99% of people who complain dwell up too much are online players, leave live players to enjoy it and stick to playing online if it bothers you that much.

Amazing writeage Jeeves, & some really subtle & biting stuff in there.

Thank you.

You should be ashamed, hope you find work again soon Jeeves.

Ashamed? Not at all.

He never even wrote about my stunning performance in yesterday's $300 @ Venetian, a result which meant a great deal to my staking partners..... It's wrong that I have to do my own chirping, so unseemly.

What happened ?  Did you decide not to play !
11  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: 2011 Vegas advice and tips please on: March 08, 2011, 10:29:58 AM
Wynn/Encore is not close when you can get the poker rate without even playing lol

$119/$199

No need to look elsewhere imo

How do you get the poker rate without playing ?
has anyone stayed at Harrahs , great position on the strip and room prices look good.
Last time stayed at Wynn with poker rate but it is still quite expensive for mere mortals
thanks in advance
12  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: Well I've arrived, but it was a close run affair. on: November 13, 2010, 12:21:58 PM

Again retreated to Wolfgang Puck for burger plus free beer following delay in burger arriving. Nearly burst out loud laughing when a party of three arrived for dinner - big fat 50ish guy (badly dressed - looked like he should be playing darts in 1983) plus two 20ish girls with dresses up their arses. Why on earth wouldn't he go get a bite to eat first, entertainment later? I set the line at $600 for the pair.

It's VEGAS baby $600 EACH minimum

What if in the above situation ( 4 flush on the board ) Villan shows the ace for nut flush , then throws the other card FACE DOWN into the centre of the table.
is that a dead hand ?
