i too had problems with the email......(not the old lady sending them) I then got emails saying that the sent emails were delayed...... This problem has been happening since friday, unbeknown to me..... some emails are still being delayed.... this is with hotmail. Like yourself, not trying to sound bitter. I totally accept that i went out during the registration, but an email was sent. Being points leader i want to be there and try and add to the tally already. I dont think that the email idea is the best, because like it or not, you cant account for many factors, ranging from servers to ......power cuts!! At least with names in a hat you all get a fair shot! There are so many ideas for what registration should be used..... and prior to and after every registration we all put our 5 bob into the pot. I'm sure APA appraciate all our moans etc.....(Wish you all well......as long as no one overtakes me!!!)

So......having reflected on this moment of mis-judgement....what i have learnt....well two things.

1. My mom cant read English
2. She needs new glasses!

Having bought tickets to go and see Spiderman3 with the wfe i totally 4got about the registration, however never fear as me mother was babysittin and i thought she was pretty computer litterate......1st mistake made.

I explained the process...9pm ish press refresh then just type the address into hotmail on the other tab.

Whilst in the cinema i recieved the first phone call at 2110hrs.....sent mother a text, whats wrong? she replied 'nothings happen' i replied ' press refresh!!!!!!!!!

Second text i recieve.....'Done'......phew i thought....then i get another text whats your mebership no? I reply.....i have no idea, usually we just type in a membership password....which i gave her.....then she replies.....oh i typed the wrong address..!!!!

She read the address as......wait for it..........partireland!!!!!!!

OMG....i have no idea if any email was sent...i sent one around 2150hrs!!!!

Des......please put me out of my misery!!!!!

Not sure i can be arsed now.... no boozing in Casino.....just realised my passport has expired...another £70 to get it fast-tracked.... flight...accomodation....buy-in.....looking less an less likey!

Seeing as i cant sleep in the car over night in Dublin............wait for it.........i'll shall be booking an Hotel.......anyone got a list or found a reallly cheap one??
