4  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: National Railway Museum York - Any tips for the day out? on: July 18, 2006, 10:03:43 PM
The Museum is now free to get in and well worth a visit, things to think about is the cafe inside is very expensive and what’s worse very little on the menu for kids, so best plan to eat before you go in or when you come out, if you get there early you can park the car in the car park then get a mini train into York centre for dinner if you wish, its not expensive to do that, and you have gotta visit the Minster! if you havent been before. You can spend all day in there as it is, and lots to keep the kids interested depending how old they are.

This happens far to often:  From my blog

one of the strangest things I saw in a poker game was; I myself was playing my tight normal game and raised X3 with KQ suited in mid position only to be re-raised all-in,. by a player who was short stacked and seemed to be playing very tight! all folded to me and it was something like 400 to call, so I had to call, this tight scandi player turned over 34off suit..hmmmm OK crap play but strange?Huh?

well the strange thing was the flop 334 turn 4 and river A.....OK I lost the pot, When I called I didnt expect to win it in truth (I had to call for value) but a player who has played tightish game (pokeroffice had him seeing 19% of the flops) to go all-in with 34off after a raise and flopping a boat? I think it must have been Derren Brown.

No, I may be wrong but I am sure Prima use the continuous shuffle, it may be a good idea for blondepoker to look into and make a report on the shuffle of each site.
12  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: Random Shuffling on the net on: March 21, 2006, 09:07:37 PM
Ladbrokes do not use the continuous shuffling method like Party and stars, indeed like most of the other sites.

Ladbrokes RNG shuffle, then deal, once the hand has started no further shuffling is done so it doesn’t matter how long you spend making up your mind; the flop/turn and river cards are at that time predetermined and will not change.

I am finding it hard to believe that no one has said

Jamie Oliver!....... what a tosser!

As a real labour man from his own constituency

Tony B-lair

and last but surely not least

Bella- from the Tweenies, for a 5 year old she's a right cow (a kind of Bonnie Langford in training)

Really,  people buy this?   Why?

Because the author promises that it contains information that will enable the buyer to win at Internet poker, you will be surprised how many gullible people they are out there.
