That's what I thought but a few comments were made after I pushed. He did in fact have KK but I managed to catch my A.

Thanks for the replys guys. I raised pre flop because the pot was un opened and it was the short stacks big blind. I thought he would pass because he doesn't have much chips left and he would probably push if he had anything half decent. Im not sure what to think by the fact he just calls. The flop for me could be better and when he checks to me I was getting the feeling me was expecting me to bet out as I was the pre flop raiser so that he could shove thats why I opted for the free card. Had he checked the turn I would have bet out around half his stack.
